Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, project management, and agile methodologies. They will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing large-scale projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions.

• This role requires a proactive individual with a strong ability to identify and implement process improvements.

• Experience in the financial, healthcare, telecom, and real estate sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion. Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of software development for the client
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Update client software, enhance existing software capabilities and develop and direct the team for testing and validation procedures
• Oversee project planning, prioritization, and organization to ensure timely delivery.
• Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Facilitate agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban, to enhance team productivity.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and leadership to agile development teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with SDLC best practices.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software development and project management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Teradata, Java, C++, Visual Basic, HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, data visualization, and UX design.
• Experience with AI and deep learning technologies.
• Expertise in agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio, Project, Access).
• Experience in managing large-scale implementation projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in coaching and leading agile teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Clarity, and ServiceNow.
• Experience in stakeholder management and reporting across multiple levels.

Part Time Teachers needed to teach:

Part Time rates: S$40-60 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Part Time teaching hours: candidates must be available between Mon-Fri office hours, 2 lessons per week (1 lesson around 1.5 hours), between Mon to Fri (9.15am to 5.30pm)

Location: Town (nearest MRT: Clarke Quay / Fort Canning / Somerset)

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and conduct online lessons according to the course syllabus and scheme of work
• Provide necessary supervision to the students and report students’ discipline issues to the Student Affairs staff
• Schedule and prepare examination papers and assignments
• Monitor the performance and progress of each student, including academic counselling
• Give feedback to Management about the continual improvement of the class performance
• Mark and grade all course work, assignments and examination papers
• Give feedback to Management on the course proceedings at the end of semester/course/modules
• Participate in programme review meetings

Requirements:
• Minimum a Bachelors Degree
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
