Job Purpose

Design and develop applications using Java and latest J2EE technologies.

Liaising with end-users when required and provide update on support queries raised by users

Debugging/troubleshooting of application issues by checking logs from servers

Develop Restful Web Services in J2EE using JAX-RS and other libraries.

Strong understanding of the web services architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is preferred.

Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Mandatory skillsets:

5-7 years of relevant working experience

Strong programming skills in Java and related server side technologies. (Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, and Hibernate, REST APIs).

Strong working experience in SQL, PL/SQL Programming.

Knowledge in Unix will be added advantage

Knowledge and experience with micro services.

Knowledge in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) will be added advantage.

Experience in DevOps tools will be added advantage.

Experience in Insurance domain will be added advantage.

The Product Specialist plays an integral role in the ongoing relationship management of existing clients to educate clients and prospects in the use, features and benefits of the Charles River Investment Management Solution & Alpha Data Platform (collectively the Alpha Platform) across multiple Asset Classes within Asian Pacific Markets. What you will be responsible for

Based in Singapore, the role involves demonstrating Alpha Platform solutions to many of the world’s most significant investment management, wealth management, banking and insurance companies.

• To be a product expert on the CR IMS and Alpha Data Platform.
• Liaison between market participants, existing clients, internal stakeholders.
• Close interaction with Charles River Relationship Management and Sales team to drive forward end-client adoption of our solutions and drive new opportunities.
