Grace Baptist Church, English Congregation is looking for a pastor to join our leadership to establish a church plant and oversee the missions ministry.

1. Main duties and responsibilities:

Primary Role

• Explore potential revitalisation/planting opportunities
• Map out a church-planting plan together with the rest of the church leadership
• Establish the groundwork for an eventual plant within 3 years
• Identify, recruit and lead a core group for a new church plant

Secondary Role

• Lead, organise, and oversee the Missions Committee in carrying out GBC’s missions strategy, policy, and practices
• Organise and oversee pastoral care for GBC’s supported missions workers
• Explore potential missions partnerships and build cooperation with like-minded workers and churches

General Responsibilities

• Serve as one of the elders of the English Congregation
• Carry out preaching, teaching and leading of corporate worship
• Work with the rest of the staff to carry out the church’s operations, ministries and activities

2. Minimum Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in any discipline
• Preference will be given for those with theological qualifications

3. Minimum Years of Experience

• Minimum 3 years full time pastoral experience
• Relevant experience in working with churches on a cross border basis and church planting preferred

Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference

Assists other cooks during the food assembly process

Responsibilities:

• Manage and address all export-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with shippers to arrange collection and resolve other export-related matters.
• Collaborate with the sales team and destination offices to obtain air approval and establish rates.
• Coordinate with the finance team regarding shipments with Cash on Delivery (COD) payments or customer accounts that have exceeded their credit limit.
• Work closely with the Vendor Management team to organize collection logistics.
• Liaise with the air freight planner to ensure timely flight scheduling.
• Coordinate with the import team for re-export shipments.
• Facilitate communication with the permits department to ensure the timely processing of export permit applications.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to oversee cargo acceptance, release, sorting, packing, and storage requests.
• Coordinate with external vendors for dangerous goods (DG) packing, crating, and fumigation services.
• Work closely with the export operations team to provide accurate shipping instructions.
• Support the manager in overseeing the team's daily operational activities and troubleshooting issues.
• Assist the manager with departmental projects and initiatives.
• Provide support to the manager in the setup of new customer accounts.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
• Experience in Air Freight Customer Service
• Strong personal presence and credibility, complemented by excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
