Roles & Responsibilities:

• To monitor and supervise subcontractors’ work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, material and samples
• To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, main contractor or clients on shop drawings, materials and samples
• Review and align ACMV design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines
• Knowledge in M&E and able to identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions
• Manage and execute project as per the deadline
• Attend meeting with subcontractors / contractors / clients to address issues and update progress
• Study and review drawings, specifications for compliance
• Allocate work and ensure jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards and SOP.

Requirements:

Education:

• Must have at least a ITC / NiTEC Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, or in similar fields.
• Good knowledge of codes, standards, and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit and etc.

Experience:

• Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
• Preferably candidate with relevant working experience in the Construction Industry especially in ACMV system installation.
• Sound knowledge in ACMV System, Local / International Code of Practice / Standard, Green Mark Requirement, Hydronic / Static Calculation, BIM, Revit, Autocad and ICDD (Interface Control & Data Document) would be an advantage.

Job descriptions

• Prepare tender submission, cost reports, cost plans and evaluate tender.
• Responsible from tender to pre-contract and post contract administration duties.
• Prepare tender clarifications, liaise with consultants, attend site visits and tender briefings/meetings.
• Evaluate and review of tender drawings for discrepancies.
• Responsible for quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, sourcing and selecting of Subcontractors.
• Liaise, communicate and work with Subcontractors/vendors/suppliers.
• Evaluating quotations from Subcontractors/suppliers according to tender requirements.
• Timely preparation of cost estimations, technical data & unit rates.
• Ensure all tender documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within specified deadlines.
• Good knowledge on local pricing.
• Suggest Value Engineering solutions, if required, in the tender.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• Min 5 years QS experience related to Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical services.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Proficient in Cubic Cost Software
• Good knowledge and experienced in Design & Build Tender for M&E services is preferred.
• A good team player.
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism & integrity.
• Contractual knowledge is preferred.
