Salt Talent Search is looking for a 'Field Technician' to work closely with the NEA team in Singapore to Support the operations of the Singapore mosquito factory. This is a one year contractual position.

What Will You Do:

• Technicians are not only expected to operate mosquito rearing and release equipment but also carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of general equipment and tools.
• Operate and maintain automated mosquito rearing and sex sorting systems
• Flag issues and provide feedback
• Assemble parts for automated mosquito rearing systems
• Trapping and surveillance and post trapping species identification
• Arrange for vehicle logistics including maintenance, servicing, and regular checks of release and transport van.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to work 5-days/week, including regular weekend work and public holidays
• Experience in automation, operations, production, or related field is optional but preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment with changing demands
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to drive a vehicle

The Successful Applicant

• Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems, IT networking, programming, and PowerPoint presentations.
• At least 3 years in IT operations, internal/IT audit, with relevant risk certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP) considered an advantage.
• Experience in supporting IT and operational audits.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepares documentation and substantiation for measurement, cost plus and adjustable items as per claim requirements.
• Works closely with Engineering, procurement & subcontract teams to support timely contract price adjustment
• Analyses, quantifies and prepares the material and quantity of work scope and record into database for managing of material and cost
• Tracks changes to design and construction work, measure and value work done
• Manages full spectrum of respective subcontracting works, claims and measurement / bill of quantities
• Prepares tender document, bid checklist, secure bid and prepare bid evaluation and summary
• Prepares progress claims on timely manner
• Monitors, reviews and checks subcontractor claims and invoice on timely manner
• Manages, prepares variation order and carry over work
• Performs cost control, cost analysis and reporting

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in any Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying
