Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning and servicing of all hotel areas and complete the day’s work assigned to high standards.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Collection of computer printouts of occupancy status, arrival departure details and guest requests from the Housekeeping Supervisor/Assistant Housekeeper at the beginning of the shift.

2. To assist in all other aspects of the IVF laboratory including its maintenance, cleanliness, sterility and the indenting, purchasing and keeping stock of consumables and frozen gametes.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies such as Ministry of Health (MOH) and Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee (RTAC).
4. Maintain accurate records of all laboratory procedures, specimen handling and patient data.
5. To keep abreast with Reproductive technologies and techniques. This includes the reading of the journals and participation in trainings, workshops, seminars and conferences.
6. To be totally committed in producing good fertilisation and pregnancy rates.
7. To assist in data analysis for all ART relevant statistics.
8. To perform quality control and quality assurance activities of lab.
9. To communicate with Clinicians and clinical staff regarding the progress and status of each case.
10. To provide patient updates, explanations of embryo quality and developmental stages.
11. To carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Applicant must possess at least a BSc in Biomedical Sciences / Biotechnology or equivalent.
2. Applicant must be an authorised embryologist under MOH Singapore.
3. Preferably candidates with a minimum of one (3) years of related experience.
4. Able to work weekends and public holidays on a rotation basis to accommodate the IVF treatment cycles.
5. Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
