Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your main responsibilities are to increase MSC's market presence by canvasing cargoes for specified export trade lanes to achieve target lifting, respond to request for quotations from customers and / or prospects, as well as maintain customer relationships. Your key responsibilities include:

• Develop new clienteles / cargo bookings through referrals, newspaper, magazines, MSC's network and telemarketing;

• Track destination ports controlled shipments, to obtain full details from shipper (i.e full style address, commodity, rates if any) and send as sales leads to respective Port of Discharge to secure business;

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensures that items are delivered in good condition to our customers promptly.
• Prepares and packs customers’ items to prevent damage during transit (include taking apart furniture, wrapping items in bubble wrap or stretch wrap, putting loose items in boxes and sealed bags, and using straps and cardboard sheets on large items).

Strategy

• Responsibility in managing the Receivables Solutions Product within the ASEAN region from an implementation and ongoing monitoring perspective.
