• Data Storage Architecture:

· Design and implement scalable data storage solutions, including databases, data lakes, and warehouses using AWS services (Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Amazon DynamoDB) and Databricks' Delta Lake.

· Integrate Informatica IDMC for metadata management and data cataloguing.

• Data Pipeline Development:

· Create, manage, and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation using AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, AWS Lambda, Databricks, and Informatica IDMC.

· Ensure efficient and quality-driven data integration.

• Data Integration:

· Seamlessly integrate internal and external data sources into AWS and Databricks environments while ensuring consistency and governance with Informatica IDMC.

• ETL Processes:

· Develop ETL processes to cleanse, transform, and enrich data, leveraging Databricks Spark capabilities and Informatica IDMC tools.

• Performance Optimization:

· Monitor and optimize data processing and query performance within AWS and Databricks environments.

· Leverage Informatica IDMC for workflow and data quality optimization.

• Security and Compliance:

· Implement robust security practices, including data encryption and compliance with privacy regulations across AWS and Databricks platforms.

· Use Informatica IDMC for data governance and compliance management.

• Automation:

· Automate routine data tasks using AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, Databricks Jobs, and Informatica IDMC for workflow automation.

• Documentation:

· Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, infrastructure, and configurations, including metadata management through Informatica IDMC.

• Cost Optimization:

· Manage resource usage efficiently to balance performance and cost in AWS, Databricks, and Informatica environments.

• Continuous Improvement:

· Stay updated on the latest AWS, Databricks, and Informatica IDMC technologies and implement best practices.

DC Environment Support

Shall monitor the facilities infrastructure in the DC to ensure that they are within the operating levels

defined by the Customers. The infrastructure to be monitored shall minimally include:

(a) Power infrastructure (such as Uninterrupted Power Supply and power distribution boards);

(b) Cooling Infrastructure (such as computer room air-conditioning units);

(c) Fire detection and suppression systems (such as FM200, water sprinklers, fire extinguishers);

(d) Environment monitoring system (such as humidity and temperature); and

(e) Water leakage detection.

(f) Shall ensure the DC infrastructure is monitored on twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days

a week, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

(g) The Vendor shall inform the Customer within one (1) hour when problems are detected.

(h) Shall work with the Customer and Customer-appointed Supplier to resolve any infrastructure

issues detected in accordance to the support hours as required by the Customer.

DC Facilities Management Services

(a) Shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the data centre

are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier.

(b) Shall work with Customer-appointed Supplier on site preparation tasks such as network cabling

and electrical wiring, when required.

(c) Shall ensure the network cabling in the data centre and within the racks are neat and tidy.

(d) Shall work with the Customer-appointed Supplier for both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance,

servicing, repair and upgrading works to the infrastructure at the Customer’s premises and

premises identified by the Customer.

(e) Shall plan and coordinate the maintenance activities. This includes polling the affected parties,

obtaining the Customer’s approval, and sending out messages to inform the affected party.

(f) Shall obtain the Customer’s approval before finalizing the plan for any activity.

(g) Shall provide on-site support during the maintenance activities unless otherwise agreed by the

Customer.

(h) Shall maintain up-to-date documentation of the data centre design layouts.

(i) Shall manage the physical security of the data centre in accordance with the guidelines provided

by the Customer.

(j) Shall monitor the following physical security infrastructure to ensure they are within the

operating levels defined by the Customer:

 Security Alarm and Security Card Access System; and

 Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).

(k) Shall ensure that only authorised personnel are allowed to access the DCs.

 The Vendor shall ensure that all visitors to DCs are escorted during their activities on-site.

 The Vendor shall ensure that the visitors record their activities in the on-site log.

Requirement – DC Operations

Minimum Requirement:

The Vendor shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the

data centre are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier. The DC Operator shall possess

minimally the following skill sets:

(a) Three (3) years of working experience in Data Centre Engineer Operations experience;

(b) Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) or equivalent; and

(c) ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent

Job Overview

The Storage Engineer will be responsible for managing, administering, and troubleshooting storage systems and enterprise backup solutions in a 24x7 operational environment. The role involves working extensively with storage technologies like HP Nimble, Dell Storage, NetApp, and Hitachi to ensure high availability, performance, and data protection for critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Storage Management

• Install, Configure, and Maintain: Implement Storage Area Networks (SAN) and enterprise backup solutions.
• Health Checks & Troubleshooting: Perform regular health checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting for HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi devices to ensure optimal availability and performance.
• Integration & Interoperability: Integrate storage solutions (HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi) into customer IT infrastructures for seamless functionality.
• System Upgrades: Perform firmware updates and necessary system upgrades, particularly for Hitachi SAN environments.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records for storage configurations, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Disk Management: Manage disk partitioning and Logical Unit Number (LUN) assignments (create, modify, or delete LUNs).
• Performance & Capacity Planning: Monitor and manage storage subsystems, conduct capacity planning, and optimize performance for HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi storage arrays.
• SAN Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot zones and switch-related issues, especially with Cisco/Brocade SAN switches.
• Security Administration: Administer and manage security configurations within the storage subsystems.

2. Backup Solutions Management

• Symantec Backup Administration: Administer and manage enterprise backup solutions.
• Backup Jobs Scheduling: Schedule and configure backup jobs to ensure data protection across NetApp, Hitachi, and other systems.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize backup server performance and troubleshoot backup-related issues promptly.
• Capacity Planning: Plan for tape libraries and backup servers to support growing data needs.

3. Disaster Recovery (DR)

• DR Planning & Execution: Develop and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies to ensure quick and reliable recovery of critical systems.
• DR Testing: Verify successful recovery of production or DR servers during DR exercises.

4. Storage Solution Implementation

• Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to integrate HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi Storage solutions into their infrastructure.
• Testing & Validation: Prepare test plans and conduct functional checks to validate that storage systems meet customer requirements.

5. Additional Duties

• Advanced Support: Provide second- and third-level support for advanced storage issues, particularly with HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi solutions.
• Data Center Operations: Assist with data center shutdown activities and recovery operations as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Enterprise Backup Solutions and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
• Hands-on experience with:HP Nimble Storage: Administration, troubleshooting, and configuration.
  Dell Storage: Working with arrays, SAN systems, etc.
  NetApp Storage: Implementation, management, and troubleshooting.
  Hitachi Storage: Configuration, administration, and integration.

Desirable

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing day to day support of medium scale maintenance projects meeting customer’s requirements and Service Level Agreements.

The activities include ensuring that the team conduct health check, conduct application monitoring, handle customer queries, investigate incidents reported, resolve the incidents and apply fixes and also to ensure that incidents reported are tracked and resolved till closure and to assist in training and guiding junior team members.

The Consumer Solutions group manages Visa’s core products base consisting of Credit, Debit and Prepaid payments solutions as well as the benefits platforms that function across all product categories – together, these are Visa’s core products. The team is also responsible for leading the transition of these conventional card-based solutions to digital form factors, ensuring Visa payments solutions remain the market-leading way for consumers to spend their money and manage their payments across the Asia-Pacific region.
