Purpose and Scope:

The Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer plays a pivotal role; the PE has to be engaged when submission to the relevant authorities are required, such as getting a development control approval, as well as various permits to start construction works in a project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the checking and design of mechanical works from concept to detailed design and provision of QP supervisory works for projects
• Endorsement of the authorities’ submissions, supervision & apply for certificate of completion as Professional Engineer (Mechanical) for the projects undertaken by company.

• Beauty certificate is an added advantage but training will be provided

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all accounting/financial operations, ensuring the excellence in company’s accounting operations, financial stability and growth. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, accounting operations and leading a team of accounting executive(s). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting/financial management within the IT services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage & govern the full set of accounts for the multiple entities in countries – Singapore (HQ), Malaysia, India and for the services being delivered in SG, Malaysia, India, Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, USA;
• Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes;
• Ensure the compliance to Accounting best practices, year-end closing and support the end-of-year audit processes;
• Formulate the costing of services being offered from local and overseas locations;
• Governance of meeting the stipulated deadlines for various statutory/tax related transactions e.g. in Singapore - GST returns, IR8A, IR21, tax returns, etc;
• Lead and mentor the accounting team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the department for individual entities.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses. Present weekly reports to the executive team.
• Manage tax planning and compliance activities. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders & Clients to formulate Service Agreements/Terms of Business/Scope of Work (SOW) for professional services offered to clients and issuance of invoices accordingly.
• Take the responsibilities for regular cash flow management, financial planning/analysis, management reporting, risk management plan.
• Implement and maintain robust systems, policies, and internal controls to achieve excellence. Assist in internal auditing the accuracy, completeness of the documents and records (i.e. SOW, Invoices, payroll information, contract, etc).
• Manage the monthly processing and checking of time-sheets, payroll and reimbursement for billable project employees within the stipulated timeline.
• As and when required, lead/manage the end-to-end process in setting up overseas entity(ies) covering local taxation and regional labour laws etc. of overseas subsidiaries.
• Govern the activities related to company secretarial services as and when needed.
• Miscellaneous transactions to be managed as and when needed: ESOP, Tax optimisation, valuations, project costings, government grants, ESG reporting, internal IT system improvements/implementations, cross border transactions i.e. withholding tax, transfer pricing etc.
• Last but not the least, work with agility as a management lead catalyst for the growth of the business in an ever-changing environment.

Pre-requisites:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a team management role. Experience in the IT services industry is highly desirable.
• Someone with proven track-record of delivering most of the abovementioned responsibilities of the role.
• Hands-on work experience in accounting/financial principles, practices, and regulations within the region including India.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proven execution skills to run accounting operations and financial strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software e.g. Tally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role requires the individual to develop and implement IT/Cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's information assets, infrastructure, and systems. The role is expected to drive cyber security solution and initiatives to improve cyber security of the organization, and effectiveness in monitoring & responding to security incidents and risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Cyber Security strategy, roadmap, and policies to protect the organization's digital assets, systems, and data.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of IT and Cyber security functions such as network security, server security, application security, end point security, email security, physical access security, logical access security, etc.
• Lead, drive and manage cyber security program and initiatives, ensure constant improvement and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain cyber security controls, standards, and frameworks in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into the organization's systems, applications, network and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure effective security controls and risk mitigation measures are in place.
• Works closely with management, department head and interacts with external auditors as required.
• Monitor and analyze cyber and IT security events and incidents, and lead incident response activities to mitigate risks and minimize impact.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT/Cyber security.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, technologies and best practices in cybersecurity to address emerging risks.
• Develop and deliver IT/Cyber security awareness and training programs to promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
• Prepare and present reports on IT security metrics, incidents, and trends to management and stakeholders.

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Information Security/Cyber Security, Computer Science or IT related field of study.
• Professional security certifications in IT such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC or other equivalent are preferred.
• Good knowledge and experience with security standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Center Internet Security (CIS) or CSA Cyber Trust Mark / Codes of Practice.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber security audit, compliance, risk and policies management.
• Experience in IT/Cyber security management, security operations, incident response, threat monitoring, etc.
• Experience with implementing various cybersecurity architecture and security standards / processes for Cloud and On-premises IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc) will be preferred.
