• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of project cost budget, cash-flow cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Oversee and manage main contract progress claim and subcontract payment.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Full job description

Responsible for contract documentation

Responsible for taking off measurement

Preparing and checking progress claims to Client and from sub-contractors

Attend meetings with Clients, consultant, subcontractors and commercial team pertaining to contracts matter, costings and invoicing and billings works

Evaluate of quotation and costing summary for approval prior tender submission

Calling of quotation and review the subcontractors’ quotation for completeness

Responsible for handling running project

Prepare and finalise outstanding progress claims and final claims

Ensure the return of duly signed subcontractor/supplier agreement/works order

Prepare materials take off for procurement and update material wastage control form

To monitor schedule of protected quantity

Preparation of cost comparison andcoordinate for award of subcontract work

Evaluation and certification of subcontractors’ progress payments and ariation claims (include any deduction to be made)

Finalization of accounts with subcontractors and client

Assist and perform all tasks assigned by respective superior

• Taking off/ measurement of quantities.
• Estimating and Tendering.
• Project Procurement, Purchasing & Budgeting.
• Assist QS manager in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
• Project Progress Claims, Variations and Final Accounts.
• General contracts administration, including payment, claims and V.O.
• Negotiation with subcontractors / suppliers, based on good knowledge of market rates.
• More experienced candidates may be offered a Senior role.
