RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for working with Care Corner Youth Services via conceptualising and conducting of intervention programmes with adolescents aged 10 - 18 years old in different settings such as in schools, on the streets, and with the juvenile justice system.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Assist in conceptualisation and planning of intervention groupwork programmes in schools for adolescents 2) Assist in engaging of adolescents in 1-1 setting and big group engagement to sieve out their needs, and steer them towards positive trajectory 2) Participate in data analysis and coming up with intervention strategy based on data sets 3) Partake in learning and development sessions with the service group.
Learning Objectives & Outcomes:
1) To attain a better understanding of adolescent needs in the school setting, in the community, and those who have offending behaviour 2) To acquire interpersonal facilitation skills in working with adolescents and families in the conduct of programmes.
QUALIFICATIONS
No minimum education (open to A-level graduates, Polytechnic students are welcome to apply)
Requirements:
1) Interest in the social service sector 2) Able to work independently and in a team 3) Good communication and interpersonal skills 4) Willingness to work at night, when required.
Internship Period:
- 5 months between Mar to Sep 2025
- Mon to Fri, 9am - 6pm; 2pm -11pm on selected days.
