Metta Welfare Association, established in 1992, is a recognized social service organization under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Ministry of Health (MOH), and Ministry of Education (MOE). Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop strategies and workplan to enhance and strengthen the Association’s brand
• Own, plan and manage content on corporate website and all social media platforms
• Plan, adopt and manage content on official social media platforms to ensure currency and vibrancy (eg. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram)
• Plan, write and edit content for communications and e-newsletter to update donors, volunteers and partners
• Manage external communication effectively to build relationship, brand strength and awareness as well as influence opinions, funders, corporates, Governmental Bodies, community and general public on existing and new programmes or initiatives
• Oversee media relations and plan media events to ensure favorable and targeted media coverage
• Compile content and develop corporate publication such as the Annual Reports for submission
• Develop and update all corporate collaterals such as pull up banners, signages, brochures and display materials
• Assist Corporate Partnership team to organise fundraising and outreach events
• Assist in planning events and other activities
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Deputy Executive Director

Job Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years in communications, marketing, or public relations.
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Strong command of English and Mandarin to facilitate writing, proofreading and translation work with Mandarin speaking associates

Role Summary:

You will be responsible for operations related to raw material warehousing and facility waste management, working effectively in a fast-paced environment, and executing company environmental safety and health policies and related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raw material warehousing management business (including receipt, shipment, storage, inventory, etc.).
• Management of scrapped products.
• Implement the company's environmental safety and health policies, 5S management, and reservoir area planning, management, and maintenance.
• Finished and semi-finished product warehouse warehousing management business (including warehousing, outgoing, packaging, storage, Inventory, etc.)
• Business waste management and related removal assistance matters.
• Warehousing facility management. (e.g. cold room, ASRS etc)

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences:

• Possess at least a Diploma's degree.
• Minimum 1 years of work experience.
• Candidates with experience in warehouse operations/utility waste management will be given preference.
• Applicants with forklift, organic solvent business, and specific chemical substance business licenses will be given priority.

Recruitment

• Manage volunteer enquiries and applications from individuals, corporate, school and community groups.
• Work with various community partners such as SG Cares Volunteer Centres, South East CDC, Tertiary Institutions, Special Interest Groups to recruit and mobilise volunteers.
• Help to identify volunteers’ area of interest, Job Scope, Skills & Attribution, availability, duration, Training / Support that they need.
• Be clear of volunteer requirements / segments (students, expats, homemakers, professionals, skilled, generic, individual / group, direct / indirect) and to know where to focus and be precise and targeted in recruitment efforts

Orientation

• Ensuring all new volunteers avail themselves to our volunteer training videos and volunteer handbook
• Screening and helping volunteers to discern where / how they would like to serve.
• Ensure governance in the onboarding of volunteers (Declaration forms – child protection, clearance with SG Enable / MSF, Non-Disclosure /Confidentiality, Media consent, etc.)
• Managing ongoing training to further equip regular volunteers

Volunteer Database

• Data capture and managing volunteer database - Matching, Selection, Scheduling, Attendance record and Feedback collection with Master Volunteer data on Google Sheet / VMS that will eventually be transferred to proper VMS CRM when available
• Develop resources and contribute ideas to the conceptualising of the Volunteer Management System (VMS).

Deployment

• Work closely with HODs or Representatives of SAAH, SAAS, DAC SK and DAC SL to manage volunteer deployment and ground operations.
• Troubleshoot and attend to volunteers on-site
• Manage relations, have open communications and maintain good rapport for sustained interest and support of SAAC’s volunteer opportunities and programmes.

Any Other Business

· Administrative duties e.g. Prepare / Monitor associated budget and expenditure among others

· Support and render assistance to the Development Team as needed.

Deployment

• Work closely with HODs or Representatives of SAAH, SAAS, DAC (SengKang) and DAC (Siglap) to manage volunteer deployment and ground operations

Requirements:

· Possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 2 - 5 years of relevant experiences

· Preferably with experience in volunteer and event management

· Effective communications skills (both verbal and written). [Experience in marketing communications and the use of social media is an added advantage.]

Established in 2007, the Youth Employment Support (YES) program empowers graduates of Metta School with essential life skills to foster independence and social integration.

Our Programs:

• Arts@Metta: Provides visual arts training for Metta School graduates with mild intellectual disabilities and/or autism, promoting independence and community inclusion.
• Metta Café: Offers vocational F&B training to prepare graduates for employment in the hospitality industry.

The HR & Admin Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Group’s human resource function and general affairs.

Job Description

Recruitment

• Plan, supervise, and execute recruitment plans to organize the project’s manpower requirements. (Staff and Workers)
• Propose appropriate changes to compensation and benefit structure where necessary.
• Supervise the onboarding process, and ensure that new hires are led through a smooth process and positive experience till their first day of work.
• Lead the Annual Appraisal, Annual Bonus, and Annual Increment exercise.

Payroll & Leave

• Supervise timesheet and payroll administration. Ensure that the payment of salary, bonuses, incentives, increments, and CPF contribution are accurate, timely, and compliant with prevailing legislation.
