We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Counsellor to join our team. The individual will provide professional counselling services, mentor junior staff, be involved in outreach effort, and lead the Counselling & Therapy Service (CTS). He/She will also provide administrative and strategic support in accordance with the service's requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Initiate and/or participate in outreach efforts related to the Division
2. Perform the role of Programme In-Charge and oversee the delivery of Counselling & Therapy Service
3. Develop strategies and oversee their implementation for the growth of Counselling & Therapy Service
4. Provide counselling assessment and intervention for clients
5. Documentation of all case related records
Technical competencies
- Proven experience in working with youths and managing trauma-related cases
- Possess good knowledge and experiences with providing counselling interventions in both individual and group setting
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Preferred achievements
· Master’s degree in counselling, or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in social service sector or similar setting
· Registered counsellor with a recognized professional body (e.g., SAC, SPS)
· Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social service practitioners, and/or counsellors
