We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Public Relations Director, based in Singapore, who will be responsible for driving and delivering client work across a portfolio of consumer and corporate brands across the B2B and B2C space. You’re a natural-born leader who is results-focused without taking themselves too seriously all at the same time.

You will be responsible for overseeing and providing senior counsel on the day-to-day client, and project management. You will be responsible for ensuring that deliverables are on a budget and schedule while managing and mentoring your team. You will be involved in business development and strategic PR-related program planning. You have a solid grasp of the local media landscape with key relationships and are not afraid to provide sound communications counsel to senior clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• You will support the overall growth, and business development and manage the Singapore office profitably (across the public relations, content, and social media arms)
• You will be the agency lead for strategic discussions and routine client/agency reviews, driving strategic planning of accounts internally and with clients, including organic growth.
• You are to set objectives for the PR team, monitor, empower and mentor your team to bring about growth and development; with a high retention rate
• You will support in identifying new business opportunities and proposal development, being involved in client meetings to provide overall strategy and direction
• You are accountable for the Singapore market’s overall performance and P&L
• You will manage and oversee the execution of marketing strategies and growth campaigns to build Mutant’s brand in Singapore
• You will mentor and build our team’s capabilities and skill sets, keeping a close eye on their career development and growth in Mutant
• As a senior leader in Mutant Singapore, you will be a driver behind Mutant’s culture and values
• You should be Mutant Singapore’s ambassador and spokesperson in the market, building thought leadership and professional relationships with clients and relevant media

What you need to be successful in this role:

• You have 8-10 years of experience in communications within the Singapore market, preferably in an agency environment (public relations, integrated communications)
• You have a proven track record in managing and driving a profitable team
• You have the ability to lead a steady stream of new revenue and drive new business proposals and strategies with a high win-rate
• You possess excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• You have led a team of superstars - driving results and a high retention rate for both clients and teams
• You have a solid understanding of the issues and opportunities in the communications industry within Singapore
• You bring with you experience in managing senior clients and mentoring junior team members
• Bonus if you have media training or crisis communications experience

Main responsibilities

• Working with the Aviation Finance team to provide support on multiple transactions
• Drafting and reviewing corporate authorities and taking ownership of conditions precedent documentation and delivery
• Arranging for legal searches and filings where necessary
• Co-ordinating DocuSign signing processes
• Preparing reports and basic notes of advice
• Aviation finance transactions are generally fast-moving and offer the opportunity to work closely with our clients, other law firms and local counsel and take primary responsibility for discrete aspects of our transactions.
• You will gain broad market experience and be exposed to a range of different types of financing and leasing transactions. You will develop strong transaction management and administration skills.
