The ICT Administrator (Data & Print) will help drive a data culture forward within the school. Provide assistance and support by ensuring the efficient running of the school’s information and learning management systems.
Additionally, the administrator will support staff by ensuring seamless access to printing services and managing large printing requests from staff, guaranteeing timely and quality delivery of materials.
School Information System and Learning Management Systems
• Support the school’s information management system such as iSAMS and learning management systems like ManageBac, Firefly and other associated software/apps.
• Support MIS Manager in addressing issues related to school’s information management systems and LMS.
• Support the data collection, data management , data sharing, tracking and analysis processes.
• Support generating and distributing data reports as requested by MIS Manager or ICT Director.
• Provide support for all members of staff in the area of data management and associated applications.
• Assist identifying areas for improvement in data management, reporting, and analysis.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and research through contacts with technology companies, professional organizations, reading of publications, and attendance of professional conferences
• Contribute and Support develop SOPs and best practices on the usage of iSAMS and other LMS providing written protocols and guidance to relevant stakeholders.
Printing Services
• Managing a system through which staff submit requests for large-scale print jobs.
• Providing photocopying, scanning, printing, cutting, binding and laminating services to all staff, completing jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Liaising with the Operations team to ensure that appropriate stocks of paper, toner and staples are maintained and delivered to respective school printers or print room.
• Work closely with other ICT staff and external providers to ensure that all printers are serviced regularly and kept in good working order.
• Work closely with MIS Reporting and Data Manager to ensure that termly reports for parents are printed, packaged and delivered to the School Offices for distribution.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic faults in school printers.
• Create and maintain detailed reports on printing volume and usage trends.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Safeguarding
• Abiding by the school safeguarding policy and keeping abreast of any changes.
Others
• ICT administrator (Data & Print) is expected to be available on-site during busiest periods of school holidays (July, August and 3rd week of December).
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by MIS Manager or ICT Director.
Requirements
● Diploma or Degree in Information Systems or any other relevant industry.
● Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position in an international school setting.
● Working knowledge and experience of student information systems, learning management systems and enrolment systems used in international schools.
● Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office Applications specially Excel or Google sheet.
● Interpersonal skills such as communication, collaboration, and being able to work with parents, teachers and staff.
● Detailed oriented, process driven and structured mindset to help users effectively with the system and deliverables required.
● Can work under pressure, strong organisation and prioritising skills to assist different stakeholders and provide support adequately based on deadlines.
● Takes initiative and strong problem solving, critical thinking, communication and project management skills.
