Customer Service Officer (Call Centre) - 2 Years Contract - Singapore

Are you passionate about customer service and enjoy interacting with people? We’re looking for a dedicated Customer Service Officer (Chinese Speaker) to join our team in Singapore! You’ll play a critical role in providing first-call resolutions to end-users via calls and emails, delivering excellent service experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls, emails, call-back requests, and live chats (where applicable) while meeting service level agreements.
• Provide friendly and efficient assistance to ensure a pleasant customer experience.
• Log all interactions accurately into the case management system, including customer inquiries, problems, and resolutions.
• Follow up on unresolved incidents and ensure timely resolutions.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a call centre or customer service environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking vendors and end-users.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work staggered office hours on rotation, including alternate Saturdays (5.5-day work week).
• Immediately Available candidate is a plus.

This is a 2 years contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.

• Has experience or knowledge on Incident and Problem management.
• Health check and monitoring production system and job scheduling to ensure SLA is meet.
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues related to performance and reliability throughout the software stack.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system and work to resolve these issues before they become a problem.
• Continuous improvement of the system, e.g. job automation, performance tuning.
• Should be able to identify and fix the bugs.
• At least 2-5 years of hands-on experience on troubleshooting the applications run on full stack preferably in Java, Spring-boot, Microservices.
• At least 2-5 years of working experience, preferably in Banking or Anti money laundering.
• At least 2-5 years of working experience in production support in banking applications running on Windows and Unix environments.
• Should have strong hold on SQL server/Oracle databases and able to write/debug the SQL
• programs.
• Good knowledge in Linux/Unix/Windows scripting.
• Hands on experience on monitoring tools like Grafana has added advantage.
• Should be open to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Knowledge on GIT Bitbucket and Jenkins has added advantage.
• Knowledge on Actimize/Hadoop has added advantage.
• Willing to work in shifts to provide 24/7, on-call, holiday and weekend supports
• For the shift schedule, rotation is normally 1 week.
• Morning (Monday to Friday) (7am to 4pm) shift
• Saturday 11pm to 6am Shift
• Sunday: 6am to 3am Shift.

• Prepare quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders; maintain sales systems; assist with customer service and correspondence (calls, emails, letters, etc.).
• Support the Procurement Team to get the best pricing and terms, and coordinate with internal and external teams to align on project goals and deadlines.
• Monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure timely delivery (including DDP/Sample) to customers, track orders from initiation to fulfilment.
• Support the design team, monitor artwork progress, and ensure correct processing of local and international orders.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above
• At least 2 years of Sales Admin experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
