Brief Job Description Position Summary

The 1st level remote support is required to provide 1st level troubleshooting to users’ queries/incidents received (regardless of source in a professional and timely manner)

Key Responsibilities & Results

1 Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded promptly

2 Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions

3 Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within the targeted Service Level

4 Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.

5 Manage customer expectations and notify the Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature

6 Handle initial classification/prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow up actions and incident status.

Requirements

- Minimum Education: Diploma in IT-related fields

- Minimum 1-year End-User Support Experience, Desktop or Technical Service Desk.

o Customer Service Experience in a non-tech call center environment will not be considered.

- Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory Account Administration, MS Outlook, and mobile device support.

Responsibility

• Manage and mentor a team of account associates in providing quality accounting and taxation services.

• Manage and ensure the preparation of financial reports and tax by the team in accordance to accounting standards.

• Manage the preparation of full sets of accounts and partial set of accounts for various companies across multiple industry, including reconciliation, cash flow, closing.

• Handle tax structuring/planning, tax audit and dealing with tax authorities.

• Ensure timely submission of deliverables to clients.

• Supervise, mentor and provide guidance to a team of associates to achieve excellence in work.

• Constantly stay updated with new regulations and accounting standards and assist in staff training, such as conducting of training sessions for staff.

• Identify and drive process improvement within the department.

• Work with Director in expanding client portoflio, including meeting potential clients, drafting proposals for new assignments and managing existing accounting client portfolio

• Other ad-hoc assignments from Director

Requirements

• Recognised degree in accounting or other professional qualifications recognized by ISCA

• Min 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an outsourced environment

• Min 3 years of People management experience

• Meticulous and good analytical skills

• Experience dealing with tax authorities and tax audit

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Organized, process-driven and able to drive results

Job Requirements:

The Search team is mainly responsible for the search algorithm innovation and architecture research and development of Douyin, international short video, Jinri Toutiao, Watermelon video and other products, as well as e-commerce, life services and other businesses. We use cutting-edge machine learning technology for end-to-end modeling and continuous innovation and breakthroughs, while focusing on the construction and performance optimization of distributed systems and machine learning systems.

Department work:

1. Participate in the research and development of international short video search engines, using cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and massive data to make the most exciting technologies and give users the best search experience;

2. Participate in the improvement of international short video search algorithms. Optional directions include:

(1) Explore cutting-edge NLP technologies: from basic word segmentation, NER, to application-based Query analysis, basic correlation, etc., full-link application of deep learning models, every detail is full of challenges;

(3) Cross-modal matching technology: Apply CV + NLP deep learning technology in search to make search have more powerful retrieval capabilities in the above businesses. Engage in the research and development of video search, visual search and other related algorithms, including video content understanding, visual representation learning, multi-modal fusion, etc.;
