• Assist Sr. Manager in guiding co-workers in P&C UW Broking
• To contribute and achieve profitability and growth for P&C business
• Assist in the management of existing P&C portfolio and developing new business portfolio
• Underwrite and determine an acceptable pricing and terms, within underwriting authority on all P&C business
• Assess risk and determine the coverage position
• Assess quantum analysis and legal liability assessment where appropriate while ensuring that company's policy, procedures, the assigned authority limits and regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times.
• Relationship management with broking intermediaries or direct clients on renewal of existing accounts and maximizing revenue

Requirement:

• Degree/Professional Insurance qualification.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with local market mechanism and practices
• Good working knowledge of underwriting methodology.
• Demonstrated sound judgement and initiative in working within underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to develop and foster relationships within and outside the company and interact effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Dynamic, organized and possess good written and oral communication skills.

THE CANDIDATE

The Reporter/Conference Producer will report to the Director to deliver all aspects of

editorial and conference content across the campaign lifecycle. The Reporter/

Conference Producer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining

relationships within the industry. Specifically, responsibilities include:

Reporter

• Interview government officials
• Write breaking news stories
• Source story leads
• Manage interview bids
• Commission blog posts and third party contributions
• Build interactive graphics and maps using data
• Contribute to written output on GovInsider Asia

Conference Producer

• In-depth industry research and development to outline a commercially
• successful conference program
• Development and management of new and existing relationships with relevant
• market stakeholders
• Researching and providing market information to marketing and sales functions
• in terms of sector and geographic markets including value propositions,
• competitive events analysis and market mapping information
• Speaker identification and acquisition of public sector speakers, industry
• influencers and business leaders
• Conducting in-depth telephone, face to face and desktop research with
• potential attendees, speakers and sponsors in the target market to develop
• commercially viable agendas
• Continued speaker engagement to ensure successful delivery

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Responsibilities

• Conduct review and analysis of credit risk assessment.
• Conduct independent and impartial credit risk analysis of existing and potential borrowers for (amongst others) creditworthiness and repayment capability.
• Prepare and present annual and quarterly “Credit Review” to the Branch Senior Management for existing and potential customers within stipulated framework
• Independently support credit rating application proposed by Credit Investment Department.
• Preparation of monthly report to Branch Senior Management (at Credit Committee Monthly meeting) tracking disclosure and receipt of financial statements, and completion of Credit Reviews and CRR reviews within timelines pursuant to Head Office and branch’s P&P.
• Preparation of monthly self review checklist reporting department’s work schedule to Branch Senior Management.
• Preparation of financial and non-financial covenants via respective quarterly and monthly report to Branch Senior Management, together with detailed verification of individual covenants certificate provided by agent banks undertaken from time to time.
• Liaise with Head Office regarding credit control when necessary, which includes but is not limited to communications by e-mail or telephone.
• Organize Credit Committee Individual Proposal/Monthly meetings.
• Prepare and circulate minutes thereof and maintain originals together with related materials so presented.
• Conducting research and producing report on credit issues relevant to branch’s credit portfolio.
• Assist, train and provide oversight for junior or new colleagues to facilitate smooth running of CC Department operations.
• Undertake, assist and support CC Department’s drive to shift away from mechanistic compliance to individual assumption for practices that promote a culture of accountability and good conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• At least 5 years of credit analyst experience in banking industry with writing credit papers

Requirement :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Relevant finance experience in a mid to large corporation.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of practical finance experience.
• Advanced practical experience in financial planning and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
