Job Description

• Handle trade matching and processing settlement instructions to custodians/counterparties for Equity, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange.
• Maintain and update Investor ID template, KPI records, trade processing matrices, cut-off time schedule and securities SSI in Alert.
• Update cash SSI in SSI Module and provide it to counterparties.
• Liaise with brokers, counterparties and custodians on all settlement issues.
• Perform reconciliation in ALTO (cash and securities) against custodian's holdings on a daily and monthly basis.
• Perform daily reconciliation between Futures clearer and ALTO, and instruct margin movements.
• Perform account reconciliation with Fund Accountant on a daily and monthly basis.
• Follow up with custodians / Fund Accountants on outstanding matters till resolution.
• Update cash entries (e.g. custody fees, FX trades executed by custodians, bank charges) in Decalog/ALTO.
• Provide month-end reports to the Client Servicing team.
• Report to internal and external stakeholders on accounts statements.

The ideal candidate should:

• Preferably 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience, providing assurance and advisory services
• Possess a degree in Accountancy or equivalent (CPA/CIA preferred) and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in business controls, commercial internal audit or external audit in an international public accounting firm and/or a reputable multinational company
• Preferably have a good understanding of internal controls, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles coupled with experience in a variety of industries such as real estate, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing industries; knowledge of treasury operations
• Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and be responsible for leading audit, advisory and other ad-hoc assignments and ensure quality and timely delivery. This would include executing fieldwork where needed
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences, which include audit committees and senior management
• Have good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Provide coaching and over-sight to team members and proactively identify staff development opportunities
• Possess strong project and client management abilities

SCOPE OVERVIEW

• Plan and manage the end to end implementation timeline fornew product launches, campaigns, funds on-boarding and product implementation-related initiatives, with relevant stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation
• Drive and manage the business requirements submission and clarifications sessions with IT and business stakeholders
• Enforce use of best practices and frameworks for UAT process and sign off (i.e. proper test cases, defect tracking log, sign off and testing results) from all relevant stakeholders
• Understand product features and participate/manage UAT testing to ensure product related testing is properly tested with proper documentation
• Ensure proper documentation for all implementation activities (i.e. Timeline, Cost of implementation, Business Requirements submission, UAT testing results, Product Launch checklist) to meet quality standards and governance at all times
• Support post deployment activities (i.e. communication, business verification process)
• Drive and support annual regulatory exercises and any ad-hoc assignments
• Work on system automation initiatives to identify improvements for UAT process
