Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure & Virtualization Management:Design, deploy, and maintain highly available cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, hybrid environments) that integrate with on-premises systems.

• Virtualization & Hypervisor Administration:Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi servers, and Hyper-V clusters, ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and scalability of virtualized environments.
  Oversee the creation and maintenance of virtual machines (VMs), templates, and resource pools in both VMware and Hyper-V environments.
  Utilize VMware vCenter and Hyper-V Manager for VM lifecycle management and advanced configurations such as HA, DRS, and VM snapshots.
  Ensure that virtualized infrastructure adheres to high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) best practices.
  
• System Integration and Automation:Automate system provisioning and configuration management via PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible, and integrate systems with various cloud platforms and virtualization environments.
  Utilize cloud orchestration tools to streamline the deployment of VMs and ensure operational efficiency across the cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

• Performance Monitoring & Optimization:Implement and manage system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Azure Monitor, VMware vRealize Operations) to monitor system performance, capacity planning, and health status of cloud and virtualized environments.
  Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure high uptime, with capacity planning for scaling virtual machines and cloud infrastructure as required.
  Proactively manage patching and upgrades of cloud, virtualized, and Windows server systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  
• Security & Compliance:Apply security hardening measures and manage access controls to ensure the security and compliance of cloud, Hyper-V, VMware, and Windows-based systems.
  Configure and manage firewall rules, network security policies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) in virtualized and cloud environments.

  Regularly perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, collaborating with security teams to remediate potential risks.
  
• Backup, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability:Design and implement backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for virtualized and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
  Oversee replication and failover strategies for critical workloads in VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud environments, ensuring data integrity and minimizing downtime.
  Maintain and test recovery plans, including cloud-based backup solutions (e.g., Azure Backup, AWS Backup) to safeguard system data.
  
• Collaboration & Documentation:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Network Engineers, and Security Analysts, to implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
  Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for all cloud, virtualization, and Windows systems, including architecture diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
  Present technical reports and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for system improvements.
  

Key Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware vSphere, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly desirable.

Parent Liaison

• Parental liaison, reception duties, facilitating parent and agent enquiries

• Ensure all new enquiries are followed up by phone or email within one working day. Follow-ups should be regular and consistent. Reminders should be sent to prospective parents before a school tour with all relevant details using the CRM calendar tool to do so.

Security Supervisor
