Objectives of the position:

This role is for the Customer Quality Support for Company’s product distribution where Customer’s feedback & Product Quality requirements / issues are handled. The person will be responsible to handle Customers requirements such as complaints, test data & other technical information as requested. Customer complaints handling will also include the necessary communication with all the stake holders (Customer, Supplier, CS, PP, SVM, LOG). Knowledge in cable testing and specification requirements will be required to understand Customer complaints (technical & logistics).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Customer complaint processes such as acknowledgement of the complaint, updating into SAP, keeping track of the complaint, closure of the complaint & summarizing for monthly reporting. Proper handling of customers’ needs by providing accurate and timely information on enquiries related to cable standards, test reports and handling of customer complaints.

2. Track supplier quality by means of in-coming inspection when required or arise from Customer complaints. Update results in SAP system and release inspected lots according to the usage decision defined. To generate supplier CAR and track for corrective action by liaising with the supplier.

3. Familiar with and comply to international cable testing standards and procedures. Contribute to achieving company & department KPIs through due diligence, duty of care & personal accountability for Quality assurance in all tasks.

4. Liaising with relevant departments to effectively close the Customer complaints

5. Maintain records in SAP

6. Operate Laboratory test equipment when required

7. Assist Customer’s Technical enquiries e.g Product Test Report, RoHS, REACH, CE

8. Supplier claim processes and 8D report.

9. Prepare and issue Customer Test Certificates & COC

10. Assist in other day to day activities related to QA department as assigned by Superior.

Skills & Qualification:

▪ Min. Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical) or equivalent

▪ Min. 2 years’ experience in electrical / electronic product testing and qualification. Training will be provided.

▪ Knowledge in ISO 9001 : 2015 QMS standard.

Job Description

Governance of Assigned SFCs (40%)

• Monitor Toyota affiliate Sales Finance Companies [SFC] strategic planning process, financial performance evaluation and SFC's approval process (Mid-Term Business Plan, Global profit management, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reports).
• Monitor SFC’s capital to adhere to global guidelines and manage capital requests as needed.
• Manage SFC’s Dividend.
• Communicate all SFC BOD/shareholders meeting materials to appropriate SFC directors and deliver updates to Asia Pacific Region [APR] senior management and obtain approval.
• Ensure Toyota Financial Services Corporation [TFSC] policies and procedures are disseminated to SFC Management and are being followed.
• Ensure that roles and responsibilities between SFC and Region are followed, and necessary approvals are communicated in a timely manner.
• Monitor compliance to global regulations.
• Must be able to represent assigned APR SFCs to all stakeholders (through understanding of the SFC business at the actual places is necessary).

Implementation Support of Asia Pacific Region to assigned SFCs (25%)

• Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure resources are ready and available to support SFCs.
• Coordinate with other TFS Regions and SFCs to ensure global best practices are shared and utilized.
• Improve the implementation support activities to improve overall value to SFCs.
• Advise APR Leadership on areas to enhance implementation support for assigned area.

Functional / Special Projects (25%)

• Sales / Marketing / Distributor Alignment : Work with TMA and TMC to ensure strategic alignment with financial services and the sales divisions.
• Regional initiatives :Collaborate with TMA for functional initiatives to promote Toyota sales and value chain activities within the region. Partner with TFSC Functional Teams to coordinate group activities with assigned SFCs.
• Partner with APR Team Leadership to: Build a cohesive high performing team, Provide mentor and training support for junior associates and Support the achievement of Asia Pacific Region’s Hoshin activities
• APR Region Function: Advise APR leadership on how to kaizen new region function and continuously improve APR strategy

General Duties (10%)

There may be a requirement to participate with various APR projects and tasks

Examples include:

• APR projects / tasks necessary to fulfill role of region
• Market research / Competitive benchmarking
• Any other ad hoc requests as described by management

Job Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 12 years of working experience in finance sector.
• Knowledge of basic risk, credit & collection in automotive industry.
• Deep understanding on automotive business, after sales, value chain, and profit management (Global profit management & Mid-term profit management).
• Strong in skills in analysis, logical and clear thinking, problem solver, good in presentation skills, business planning.
• Highly competent with MS Office (Word, Power Point, especially Excel), Essbase.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong passion to drive operation and team.
• High motivation to learn, possess a “Can-do” and “never give up” mentality.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Travelling is required and flexibility to work for long hours especially during peaks period for projects.
• Ability to converse in Japanese is an advantage for communications with counterparts in headquarters in Japan.
