Position Title: Warehouse Assistant (Forklift Driver)

A boutique practice looking for talented Architecutral Designers to join the team. Our practice takes on projects ranging from landed residential, apartments, to commerical, offices, institutional and industrial projects, thus ensuring that one's creative mind is challenged from time to time.

This office expects the candidate to take ownership of the projects assigned - the candidiate is expected to start and continue the project from inception to end of DLP, hence learning and delivering the full spectrum of the architectural profession. A passion for design is desired. Along the way, one should hone his/her skillsets on the technical buildability, and regulatory compliance necessary for the industry.

The candidate should ideally have 3 years working experience and are driven to excel in architectural design. One should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Leadership qualities and foresight to anticipate issues arises out the the design and site works are required. The candidate should possess the qualification necessary for registration, or has been registered with the Board of Architects. Fresh Singaporean graduate may be considered on a case-by-base basis.

Job scopes

• Responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions using IBM Planning Analytics.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations for optimization.

Job requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Around 5 to 6 years of experience as an IBM PA consultant
• Able to understand client’s business process, gather requirements, propose solution and design using IBM PA
• Ability to perform solution build
• Knowledge and experience in EPM 3.
• Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive skills
• Familiarity with Business Model Strategy, IBM Planning Analytics, Business Process Design and Business Process Analysis tools

Key responsibilities of this role entail:

• Operational Leadership: Take full responsibility for the efficient and effective management of all operational activities related to Agri-commodity trade support, including but not limited to shipping document preparation, Letters of Credit, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance on operational best practices and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Ensure that the team is well-equipped to handle day-to-day challenges and manage large-scale contracts effectively.
• Strategic Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end process of bulk vessel shipments and other logistical requirements, ensuring that all shipments are executed in line with agreed timelines, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with senior stakeholders, including Traders, Origination Desks, Shipping Desk, to ensure alignment on trade activities and optimize operational workflows across departments.
• High-Risk, Large-Value Contracts: Manage and execute high-risk, high-value contracts, ensuring all documentation, compliance, and operational processes are meticulously handled to minimize risk and ensure successful completion.
• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements across the operations function, leveraging technology and best practices to increase operational efficiency, minimize errors, and deliver timely and cost-effective solutions to the business.
• Ensure all operational activities are compliant with industry standards, including international trade regulations, Letters of Credit (ICC rules), GAFTA, FOSFA, and Incoterms. Act as a key advisor to senior management regarding operational risks and mitigation strategies.

Required Experience/Background

• Educational Background: A minimum of GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma in International Trade, Import & Export, or related fields. A bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Professional Experience: At least 6+ years of progressive experience in an Agri-Business/Trading Company, with proven expertise in managing operations for soft commodity trading, bulk shipments, and trade support functions. Experience in a managerial role is essential.
• Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, effectively managing both people and operational resources.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commodity trading, including familiarity with GAFTA, FOSFA, and ICC rules for Letters of Credit. Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices is crucial.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills. Experience with trade management software or ERP systems is a plus.
