You will strategically craft video content from news packages and short-form vertical videos for news, current affairs, and sociocultural stories. Your secondary role is to produce your own content or co-produce content with journalists and social media producers.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, set up and execute media production work including videography, video editing and media production for social media, as well as conduct video shoots, and live-stream events.
• Execute video production according to script and visual concept -duties include transcribing, scripting, filming, editing, producing and uploading content.
• Craft creative video content for target audiences, and experiment with concepts and formats.
• Stay on top of the latest news, audience and content trends.
• Use data analytics to optimise video projects
• As a secondary role, create your own video content and/or collaborate with journalists in the wider newsroom and cross-functional teams to develop video projects.

Job Requirements

• Minimum diploma in Film and Video and Mass Communications or equivalent from a recognised institution
• Highly creative and, meticulous, with high personal standards, ownership in his/her projects.
• Have a track record in videography and editing, especially in social media.
• Able to film with different devices, including mobile phones and cameras.
• Proficient in editing software under Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and other software like Canva and CapCut.
• Positive attitude, detail and audience-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
• Able to prioritize, multitask and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in video production
• Effectively bilingual in English and Malay
• Willingness to work on weekends/public holidays when required

This is a temporary contract position till March 2026.

Your job scope is to coordinate and manage the volunteer programmes and activities in the organisation; working closely with centre site supervisors/programme in-charge to plan and develop volunteer centric programmes.

You are also expected to forge volunteer relations with various stakeholders and organise volunteer appreciation activities, and maintain a volunteer database, process and work systems and preparation of reports/documentation

Main areas of responsibilities include:

1. Recruitment and selection of volunteers

2. Conduct training and deployment of volunteers

3. Handle volunteer enquiries and perform volunteer engagement and maintain good relationship with various stakeholders

4. Organise volunteer appreciation and recognition events

5. Maintain volunteer database

6. Prepare volunteer reports for submission

7. Attend meetings with various stakeholders

*9am - 5pm (1hr lunch break)

Part time 2-3 days a week from Mon-Fri.

Youth Engagement and Development Intern

"Are you passionate in empowering and developing youths? We're looking for Youth Engagement and Development Interns to support in scaling the work of our Youth Corps Development Team (YCDT), operated by Care Corner Singapore. YCDT aims to grow the youth volunteerism landscape through building youth volunteer management capability with community partners, curate more youth-friendly opportunities & support youths with necessary training. This internship offers hands-on experience in volunteer recruitment, programme planning and execution, and youth development, with an opportunity to shape meaningful experiences for volunteers while gaining valuable insights into the social service industry."

Role & Rresponsibiity:

1) Volunteer Recruitment & Development - Assist in recruiting volunteers for our signature programmes - Ensuring smooth onboarding process of volunteers 2) Programme Planning & Execution - Collaborate with the team to plan, organize, and execute programmes - Preparation of necessary logistics - Involve in evaluation of programmes by gathering feedback from volunteers 3) Volunteer Management System (VMS) - Hands-on experience with the organisation's VMS - Support in tracking volunteer activities, recording hours and managing communications 4) Youth Volunteer Guidance - Provide ongoing support to youth volunteers pre/post programme - Facilitate learning sessions and help volunteers reflect on their experiences 5) Administrative Support - Includes but not limited to maintaining volunteer databases, data entry, and other tasks assigned by supervisor
