Micron Packaging R&D group is looking for highly talented individual for Wire Bond Process to develop innovative solutions for the Multi Chip Memory IC Packages.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in wire bond technology, problem analysis and resolution
• Develop and Transfer wire bond process for IC Package process technology (Wire Bond) for multichip memory packages
• Process Development & Characterization, Qualification, and production pilot run
• Work with multi-functional team to characterize new Silicon technode and develop assembly packaging/recipe solution for products requirements
• Define, plan and implement technology roadmap to meet wire bond packaging roadmaps
• Qualify and transfer packaging technology to production site
• Collaborate with other functional groups both locally and globally to develop wire bond solutions to meet the packaging business needs
• Showcase and build organization reputation by publishing technical papers and submit invention disclosures.

Job Requirements

• PhD/Masters’s Degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor wire bond engineering
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, such as using Design Of Experiment and structured problem solving tools
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and self-initiative personality
• Possesses good communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work with global multi-functional teams

What will you be doing?

Safety policy and objectives

• Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of KONE safety management system (operating model) including worker, user and third party safety
• Cultivate an understanding and actively caring culture for safety. Act as a role model
• Compile, maintain and improve safety documentation together with the unit safety team
• Actively participate in and contribute to unit safety committee and other safety forums
• Provide professional advice and support to the unit on matters affecting safety
• Plan, participate in and implement projects and activities to improve safety
• Work closely with customers and partners, including KONE subcontractors
• Support the development, review and exercise of crisis and emergency response plans

Safety risk management

• Monitor and develop safety risk management processes, tools and practices
• Support safety related change management projects and initiatives

Safety assurance

• Collect, measure and ensure accuracy of leading and lagging safety data. Report performance
• Monitor legal and business environment development in safety, identify and propose actions
• Perform safety audits regularly to verify compliance, identify uncontrolled risks and deviations
• Assist line management in safety audits/visits and support the audit process improvement
• Analyze and investigate incidents. Support the investigation process improvement
• Manage corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement

Safety promotion

• Develop own competences as a safety specialist in co-operation with the manager
• Support the training and development of others’ safety competences in the unit
• Proactively communicate safety information including investigation outcomes and best practices

Are you the one?

• Recognized professional qualification in safety.
• Registered as WSH Officer with MOM for at least 10 years preferred.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the building construction industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of applicable safety regulations
• Safety management system, tools and certifications experience
• Problem solving, incident management, auditing and analysis skills
• People management, training and communication skills
• Strong people and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in digital and mobile environment
• Project and change management skills
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
