• Manage change order/ variation claim from subcontractors and prepare change order/ in support of variation order claims to client, and keeping track of all change orders.
• Work closely with Project teams/ various disciplines (Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontractors, etc.) and coordinate the timely contract price adjustment/ claims including internal reviews/ approvals
• Manage full spectrum of respective subcontracting works, measurement/ bill of quantities, cost plus and adjustable items as per claim requirements.

• Ensures all POs and WOs and payments flow from procurement & subcontractor team into the Project Cost Code system

Professor John Chambers is the Toh Kian Chui Professor of Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Programme Director of the Population and Global Health Research Programme at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University. He is also the Chief Scientific Officer for the National Precision Medicine Programme. His research programme aims to identify the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetes and premature cardiovascular disease in Asian populations, and to translate these findings into new approaches for improved prevention and early detection of these major chronic diseases.

His research team is hiring a Research Assistant to provide research support to his research programme to develop stratified approaches for health promotion and therapeutic intervention, in particularly for type 2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiovascular disease (CVD).

Responsibilities :

• Prepare group consolidation, financial report and financial analysis.
• Prepare and submit of consolidated monthly financial reports.
• Oversee the accounts of subsidiaries companies within the Group to ensure timely monthly closing and reporting.
• Statistics / survey preparation and submission
• Provide accounting advice to colleagues and associate companies to ensure common application of accounting guideline, policies and procedures.
• Handle subsidiaries/associate companies in forecast reporting and in their management accounts process. Liaise with external auditors in annual financial audit and statutory reporting for the Group.
• Prepare Group’s annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast.
• Assist Accounts Dept in ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned.
• Review and approve WIP
• Analyse, prepare, explain, and submit Flash report to Directors/Shareholders
• Liaising with all auditors and tax agents

Requirements :-

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years working experience in accounting, audit and/or handling group consolidation.
• Experience in ERP system implementation is a plus.
• Worked in accounting firm with an audit background is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

We are looking for a Research Fellow who will be based in School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) and will be expected to work effectively for developing innovative low-carbon soil improvement techniques. The position is expected to perform independent and collaborative research on the fundamental engineering properties of the biocemented soils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting research on advanced laboratory soil testing and other related research work
• Producing project progress reports and papers with the quality matching high factor impact journals
• Assisting in the development of research proposals that could be funded externally.
• Collaborating with other team members on other research tasks in the Centre.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in geotechnical engineering or related discipline
• Expertise in advanced laboratory soil mechanics testing
• Knowledge in advanced soil mechanics, advanced soil testing and biocementation based ground improvement
• At least 2 years of relevant experiences in advanced soil mechanics and biocementation
• Familiarity with triaxial test, small strain hollow cylinder soil test and other soil engineering property laboratory test
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and develop solutions under strict timelines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

A) Sales Strategy, Planning and Execution:
1) Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for his responsible area.

3) Create annual and quarterly sales plans with measurable targets and objectives.

B) Key Account Management and Business Development:
1) Identify and acquire new customers, building, establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with key clients and decision-makers.
2) Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations to potential and existing customers.
3) Address client concerns, provide solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction, building long-term partnerships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

C) Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
1) Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

D) Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

2) Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and potential leads in the CRM system.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles of at least 5 years of experience within the machine tools or industrial equipment sector.
• Good command of English
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• With own vehicle and valid driving license
• Candidates with greater experience will be considered for Senior position

Responsibilities:

• Reviews daily Tugboat orders to identify and optimize deployment gaps in order so as to help reduce operational cost
• Works closely with Technical Superintendents to plan and reduce Tugboat service down time so to ensure service level is maintained and revenue loss is reduced
• Performs cold-calls to other Tugboat service providers to update them of our tugboats location to see if there are potential enquiries that we can serve
• Prepares daily Tugboat order log sheet for recording, planning and monitoring purposes
• Updates and manage Service logbooks for invoicing purposes.

Requirements:

• Minimum O’ Level or equivalent certificate
• Preferably 1 years’ experience in Tugboats / Launch scheduling and deployment will be advantageous
• Knowledge and experience in in port agency and management will be advantageous
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)
• Willing to work on rotating shift, 2 days, 2 nights & 2 off and public holidays when necessary
• Preferably have own personal transport for shift work
