Job Description:

1. Accounts Payables and Receivables Maintenance:

Responsible for maintaining accounts payables and receivables.

2. Expense Allocation:

Charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice and expense reports and reviewing posting entries.

3. Commercial Card Expenses and Cash Advances:

Manage timely payment of monthly commercial card expenses and issuance/settlement of cash advances for staff.

4.Timely Payment Management:

Ensure timely payment to vendors, grantees, and staff.

5. General Accounting Duties:

Assist with general accounting tasks, including posting purchase quotes, purchase orders, purchase invoices, debit/credit notes, and receipt/payment journals

6. Record Accuracy and Consistency:

Check and ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial records.

7. Finance Document Management:

File and organize finance documents according to standard conventions.

8. Bank Reconciliation and Audit Schedules:

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and other audit schedules. Monitor monthly creditors’ aging.

9. Month-End Closing:

Responsible for month-end closing for subsidiary or regional office accounts.

10. Other Ad-Hoc Duties:

Perform additional tasks as needed.

Job Requirement

• Diploma, Degree, or tertiary qualification in Accounting.
• Working experience in charitable organizations and familiarity with MS Business Central 365 will be an added advantage.
• Meticulous and ability to multi-task
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 4-5 axis CNC Vertical Milling Machines and Horizontal Boring Machines.
• Set up machines accurately, including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces, based on engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Keep up with the housekeeping requirements at the workstation.
• Carries out duties as assigned by Foreman.

Requirements:

• Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in setting up and operating CNC milling / Turning centre.
• Understanding of tooling criteria, machining applications and process documentation.
• Min ITE Technical Certificate, preferably in Precision Metal Machining.

Job Purpose

The incumbent will play a critical role in planning, driving and implementing key strategic projects that address organisational challenges and advance the company’s strategic priorities. These projects will be of critical importance and involve collaboration across multiple business functions, determined either by the GCEO or in consultation with senior leadership.

3. Facilitate cross-functional coordination among key departments, incl IT, Finance, Legal and P&C to address interconnected challenges and opportunities.
4. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform project decisions and strategies.
5. Monitor project performance, manage risks and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
6. Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all levels of the organisations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Admin, management, or a related field, MBA or equivalent is a plus
