We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our manufacturing department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing while working closely under the guidance of a senior engineer. You will collaborate closely with the senior engineer, assisting in various manufacturing tasks and projects. This role provides an excellent platform to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to our team's success.
Educational Certificate/ Qualifications
Diploma / Degree Year 2 or 3 in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace Engineering
Internship / Attachment Period
6 months – 8 months
Job Responsibilities
• Assist engineers in updating manufacturing documents, including process instructions, quality control procedures, and technical documents.
• Update information in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Utilize SolidWorks software for modelling and design tasks related to fixture and gauge development.
• Assist engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collect data on manufacturing processes and performance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in shop floor activities, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Engineering Manager
Requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using SolidWorks software for drawing, modelling, and assembly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and engage in hands-on tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in python and data analytics will be an added advantage
