Major Position Responsibilities

The Lab Analyst, will be responsible for maintaining compliance of laboratory activities with Employee Health and Safety (EHS) requirements which includes adhering to all quality and the laboratory's standard operating procedures, including those for calibration and maintenance of equipment and performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and instruments. .7 Carefully scrutinise all SPARES AND STORES REQUISITIONS from the vessel before approval for quotations and ordering.

.8 Ensure that the vessel submits technical and other reports in a timely manner.

.9 Review all technical reports submitted and take actions for any non-conformance or below par performance.

.10 Review the vessel's performance in terms of speed, fuel and lub oil consumption and take corrective actions in time.

• Manage day to day contractual correspondences with subcontracts including contractual letters preparation and tracking of incoming/outgoing letters
• Procure all subcontracting work within budget and in accordance to comply financial guideline
• Monitor subcontracting cost and ensure within allocated budget
• Finalises project final accounts settlement with subcontractors and close out
• Participate in monthly cost review, if required. Manage warranty/ defect claims if any
• Participate in Project meetings, interface with cost control, procurement and others.

• Degree in any Engineering disciplines
• 3‐5 years of experience in contracts administration
• Familiar with offshore platforms, modules, FPSOs, jackets, etc. and onshore petrochemical plants will be an added advantage

Reporting to Shift Supervisor, this position will execute and maintain manufacturing process operations by physically performing the task of process control, equipment monitoring and in-process analysis to ensure the production process strictly follows company safety standards and environmental regulations and product quality is within customer's requirement.
