Defence Collective Singapore (DCS) manages the Singapore Discovery Centre, the SAF museums and the future National Service (NS)-Themed Gallery to meet MINDEF/SAF’s objectives to strengthen commitment to Singapore and community support for NS / defence.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the commercial functions of DCS to meet the operational and budgetary plans, and KPIs set by the DCS Board of Directors.
· Develop the commercial business strategies for DCS through effective customer segmentation strategy, customisation of revenue generating programmes to suit customers’ needs, sales promotion and outreach.
· Build commercial partnerships and explore business development opportunities for long-term business collaborations with DCS.
· Drive various marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve DCS’s Visitorship targets and promote awareness of the DCS’s role in museums and attractions management, national education and sustainability.
· Envisage DCS membership programme and strategies to attract new members and grow membership with innovative membership features and rewards.
· Establish and maintain effective relations with relevant counterparts in the local and overseas attractions, museums and defence community.
· Lead the Sales, Marcom and Membership teams and ensure that all staff are engaged to achieve the organisational goals and objectives of DCS.
Requirements:
· Degree with 10 years of experience and at least 5 years of management track record.
· Good management skills to promote a healthy organisational culture, encourage teamwork and collaboration to meet company goals.
· Candidate must possess strong communication skills and preference will be given to those with working experience in attractions/ museum/ gallery related organisations.
· Driven, performance focused and self-motivated.
