Manage the creation, maintenance and quality assurance of BIM models, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all project stages from design stage to as-built.

Establish and implement QA/QC processes for BIM deliverables, ensuring that models are compliant with the BEP and meet project requirements.

Ensure that data within the BIM models is accurate, up-to-date and securely managed, following digital information security protocols.

Ensure that the as-built BIM model is accurate and complete, preparing it for handover to the client with all necessary documentation.

Generate regular reports on BIM model progress, clashes identified/resolved, and any design adjustments needed.

Printing of project construction-related drawings in both digital and hardcopy format for distribution, such as Construction Drawing, Shop-drawings, As-Built and any other deliverables described in corporate BIM standards and Project BEP.

Attend client meetings and lead the decision-making process affecting the BIM deliverables.

Hold effective design co-ordination meetings and liaise with consultants and project teams.

Ensure authority submissions are planned, accurate and technically complete.

Constantly monitor and maintain the best compliance of drawing submission according to the project schedule.

Perform any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by the Senior Management.

Knowledge of local authorities' rules and regulations related to curtain wall facade, aluminium facade and related works.

Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. We are looking for a Programme Director to lead an ERI@N Interdisciplinary Research Programme focusing on Power Electronics Solutions. This program will develop power electronics solutions which enable applications across the energy domain and the selected Programme Director will have to work with and support other ERI@N Programme Directors and lead the increased deployment of power electronics applications across the energy domain. This could include (but is not limited to) a wide range of applications including Solid State Transformers for future grid applications, grid connected Energy Storage Systems, power solutions supporting the future hydrogen economy including power supplies for electrolyzers, inverters for solar systems and fuel cells, electromobility and power systems for smart buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist the Executive Director, in Scientific and Technical matters relating to their individual areas of expertise, the Programme Director will support and / or lead the following activities:

• Participate in or lead research and development, demonstration, and deployment of innovative energy solutions, that entail research in energy systems and alternative energy sources.
• Identify strategic R&D focus and lead technical roadmap development and technology assessments for various energy domains. Recommend and support in development of strategic capabilities and core competence in targeted areas.
• Facilitate and lead joint research and development agreements such as Joint Industry Program, Research Collaboration Agreements with Industry or University partners and related programs.
• Manage projects in the group and be the Principal Investigator (PI) of key projects to ensure projects are executed to meet the scientific / technical targets.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s / PhD degree in Engineering or Sciences or a related field
• At least 10 years with a strong research track record in development and applications of power electronics applications would be essential.
• Familiarity with both academic and industrial research as well as the funding landscape enabling these research programmes is required.
• Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of individual and professional groups including senior level management in both industry as well as government agencies is required.
• Demonstrated leadership in RD&D in energy research as P.I of successful completed multi-million projects/programs; strong publications, or intellectual property track record is essential.
