Job Summary
The Structural Heart (SH) Clinical Regional Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing brand recognition and driving business growth for the SH division. This position requires an individual with a strong clinical aptitude and a consultative selling approach, supported by in-depth knowledge of Biosensors and competitive Structural Heart products, along with relevant clinical data.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with Country Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Clinical Specialists to deliver exceptional program support by leading all Biosensors SH initiatives. Key responsibilities include a thorough understanding of catheterisation lab dynamics and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with physicians and staff.
The SH Clinical Regional Manager will support all aspects of structural heart cases, including pre-case planning and recommending patient treatments. Acting as a trusted advisor, the manager is recognised as a clinical sales expert by the heart team and is expected to provide comprehensive support for Structural Heart cases.
Job Responsibilities
· Assist in executing a proactive regional plan that integrates clinical, sales, and service support to enhance market share and improve service quality for customers.
· Identify and facilitate growth opportunities in collaboration with the Sales and Clinical Support Team.
· Serve as the primary clinical resource for case coverage, troubleshooting, specialty product usage, and customer training.
· Attend cases at customer accounts, advising physicians on the clinical attributes and techniques associated with our coronary products.
· Educate customers on the benefits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations using various formats and platforms.
· Provide supplemental training support during product launches and for high-touch specialty products.
· Address customer needs and complaints regarding products and services by developing creative solutions or collaborating with relevant personnel to find optimal resolutions, especially in training and troubleshooting.
· Conduct sales forecasts and analyses to ensure adequate consignment levels, tracking consignments with minimal write-offs in coordination with the Planning & Sales Operations team.
· Ensure timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation related to procedural device operations.
· Fully support the Quality Policy by embedding quality into all aspects of work and maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
· Research and identify new business opportunities, including emerging markets, growth areas, trends, customer needs, partnerships, and competitor products and services, while staying informed of industry trends.
· Engage with customers to foster and develop strong relationships.
· Gather and analyse useful information from customer and competitor data.
· Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to discuss promotional strategies and activities.
· Coordinate with the Sales Team to develop mutually beneficial proposals and sales campaigns.
· Participates in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Nursing, or a related discipline
· At least 5 - 8 years of successful sales experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
· Previous experience in a Cath Lab or in Cardiovascular settings is advantageous
· Strong clinical aptitude and understanding of structural heart products
· Proven ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts with a willingness to travel for business
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with a capacity for collaboration and receptiveness to coaching from team members, fostering success in selling specialised products
