Description of Responsibilities and Duties

1. Plan and execute corrective/preventive maintenance on facility equipment and plant equipment to ensure good efficiency and availability. Generate equipment and facilities related records/reports/ documentations on above activities.
2. Implement TPM strategy. Responsible for tracking machinery spare parts usage, maintaining adequate quantity, critical parts requirement, spare parts management, continuous improvement, and ISO audits.
3. Support EHSS related topics, ensure site is in full compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Security regulation and policy.
4. Resolve various equipment performance issues internally before approaching equipment vendor. Review equipment log and technician feedback for quick solutions.
5. Liaise and co-ordinate jobs to be performed by contractors for facilities and plant equipment. Ensure work completion and achieve high standard of work.
6. Perform site EHSS inspection/audits and ensure that all corrective / preventive actions are close in timely manner. Responsible for internal/external audits and EHSS activities.
7. Interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings for equipment troubleshooting with at least 3 years hand-on experience
8. Evaluate existing/new contractors’ performance and negotiate with them on quotations and service level.

Knowledge:

• Hands on experience in mixer and milling equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge in TMP, Equipment FMEA is an advantage.
• Knowledge in facilities maintenance (Electrical, water, AC) is an advantage.
• EHS competence, familiar with ISO45001 & ISO14000 is a plus.

The APAC Tax Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing all tax-related matters for Rolls-Royce Solutions Asia (Singapore) operating in the Asian region. The role involves providing direction and expert guidance, compliance oversight for tax planning, reporting, and ensuring compliance across various Asian countries.

The APAC Tax Lead will collaborate closely with regional and global tax teams and external tax advisors to ensure tax governance to align with business objectives while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Singapore

• Responsible for all tax accounting and tax reporting matters such as making adequate tax provision for quarterly, Hard-Close and Year-End for local and HQ tax reporting requirements.
• Responsible for submission of Corporate Income Tax Return to IRAS, including overseeing the extraction and collation of information and data required. Verification of Notices of Assessment issued by IRAS and communicate adequately with finance colleague to ensure sufficient funds are maintained in accounts for timely payment to IRAS.
• Oversee the local Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation and ensure the Company maintains adequate contemporaneous TP document in accordance with the IRAS’s requirements.
• Handle tax queries raised by the IRAS. This includes overseeing the extraction and collation of information and formulate draft replies to external tax agents for review, comments, and fee quotations.
• Point of contact with external tax agent. Discuss and negotiate tax compliance / advisory fee quotes for tax services in accordance with the tax services required by the Company.
• Contact point of Business Units (BUs) on Inbound and Outbound withholding taxes (WHT), international tax implication (Eg. Permanent establishment), Value added tax (VAT) and Good & Services Tax (GST) matters. Provide comprehensive, practical, and commercially viable tax advice to ensure that the Company is overall in tax compliance.
• Lead the Assisted Compliance Assurance Program (ACAP) and Post-ACAP Review on a periodical basis to ensure existing internal controls for GST framework remains robust, valid and applicable at all times in accordance with the changes in GST legislations and overall operational framework from time to time.
• Renew operational GST tax incentive status, i.e. Major Exporter Schemes (MES) on a periodical basis.
• Keep abreast of tax regulations changes with the objective to assess potential tax impact to BUs so that advice can be conveyed adequately and timely to BUs and management to mitigate the tax exposure.
• · Provide regular internal training to employees on areas of WHT, Permanent Establishment, VAT and GST to elevate overall BUs awareness.

Regional:

• Partner, collaborate and guide regional tax colleagues in Japan, Indonesia and India to act as the conduit between the region and HQ.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-7 years of commercial experience in taxation at a multinational corporation

• Hands on experience with dealing with indirect taxes is a must, while knowledge in Transfer Pricing and European VAT is an added advantage
