This includes tasks like checking and storing inbound items, picking and packing outbound orders, and preparing cargo for shipment. They also handle value-added services such as repacking, cleaning, and performing minor maintenance on spare parts. Inventory management is a key part of the role, involving regular cycle counts, stock assessments, and minor rework on pallets or products as needed. Additionally, they ensure all documentation and processes comply with the company’s internal controls and standard operating procedures. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment is essential for this role

Qualifications:

• Possess a Forklift License.
• Minimum 1 years’ relevant working experience.
• Can physically move up to 20kg
• Generally required to walk a lot
• Comfortable in non-aircon environment

This is a full time role for a Shipping Coordinator located in Tuas. Our clients serve the Asia region. Supplying such as Marine Engines, Industrial Power Equipment, Energy System, Engineering Services and Spare Parts in Singapore. The role focuses on managing export shipments, including preparing commercial documents such as invoices and shipping paperwork, coordinating with the warehouse team, and arranging shipments with external vendors like freight forwarders. It also involves handling Letters of Credit, processing purchase orders, and issuing shipping instructions across various regions. Key responsibilities include negotiating delivery costs, monitoring inbound shipments, tracking logistics expenses, and addressing claims related to shortages or defective parts. Additionally, the role requires preparing reports and handling other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Nitec & above
• 3 years of relevant experience

• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
• Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
