Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Machinery/ Piping new-building engineering design.
• Familiar with Auto-CAD/ Microsoft Office/ AVEVA
• Familiar with Rules and Regulation from Classification Society and Authorities.
• Familiar with theory and calculation of marine/offshore Mechanical & Piping Design.

You shall be responsible to assist the shipyard project team in the management of all purchase requisitions and provide administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team to ensure purchase requisitions are keyed into the Workday system in a time and accurate manner.
• Work closely with the purchasing team on follow up matters related to purchase requisitions.
• Assist project team in follow through of the purchase requisitions including liaising with requestors and users.
• Provide administrative support to the project team together with existing administrative staff.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum GCE O Level / Diploma in business or related field of study.
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English.
• A team player who is organised and possesses good initiative.
• Proficient in relevant Microsoft Office programs.

Job Description:

Work closely with project team to understand key project requirements for conceptualization and implementation of engineering solutions

Provide project engineering support for following key project activities:

• Design reviews with customers
• Technical assessment for operational ease and safety
• System qualification testing, verification and acceptance
• Documentation support

Carry out system and design analysis including:

• Design for Manufacturing and Assembly
• Engineering Calculations
• Static Structural Finite Element Analysis
• Computational Fluid Dynamics
• Shock and Vibration Simulation
• Airflow and Thermal Analysis

Maintain proper records of project drawings and engineering documentation:

• Update drawings in accordance with the relevant company procedures, engineering standards and project requirements
• Maintain all revisions of project drawings
• Update and maintain drafting log

Prepare engineering documents for Client submissions:

• Prepare Bill of Materials
• Prepare manual information and illustration for component/assembly installation,integration and operator use and maintenance

Liaise with vendors for component and material specifications

Liaise with Operations team, including sub-contractors, on fabrication and manufacturing methods

Requirements:

• Preferably Singapore Citizen
• Proficient with MS Office with good technical writing skills, well-versed in Microsofe Excel
• Proficient with SOLIDWORKS
• Degree in Mechnical Engineering
• Fluent in English and Chinese to converse and work together with production workers from different backgrounds
• Preferably with Class 3 driving license

Contract period:

• 13 Jan 2025 to 31 Oct 2025

Deployment:

• Monday and Tuesday, when there is no other school event: 0730h to 1700h, with a 1-hour lunch break. Total working hours: 8.5 hours.
• Wednesday, Infocomm Club CCA training day: 0730h to 1800h, with a 1-hour lunch break. Total working hours: 9.5 hours
• Thursday, when there is no other school event: 0830h to 1700h, with a 1-hour lunch break. Total working hours: 7.5 hours
• Friday, when there is no other school event: 0730h to 1630h, with a 1-hour lunch break. Total working hours: 8 hours

Scope of Works:

Infocomm Club CCA Duties

• To support Infocomm Club CCA by providing training to the students on the use of AV equipment and media editing.

Audio-Visual (AV) Duties

• To carry out the work assigned by ICT Manager or HOD/SH ICT, act as the AVA Executive for the school and provide AV technical support for teaching and learning purposes as well as school events, including but not limited to setup of projection, sound system and control room operation.
• To perform servicing for AV equipment and maintain usage and service records of such equipment and assist in the maintenance of all AV equipment.

Event Support Duties

• To be the photographer and videographer to record footage and photos for school events.
• To edit, archive and update photo montages and videos for school.
• To setup AV equipment for school events.

Non-SSOE ICT Infrastructure Maintenance

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day support for non-SSOE ICT hardware and software issues across the school under the instructions of HOD/SH ICT and ICT Manager. This includes managing device setups, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of all non SSOE ICT equipment.
• Maintenance of ICT Resources: Oversee the inventory, maintenance, and timely updates of all non-SSOE ICT and AV equipment. This includes maintaining the security of school devices, ensuring software updates are applied, and managing equipment booking systems for staff and student use.

Must be MOE Registered throughout the cotnract period.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sales Representative is the direct interface to the customer, responsible for coordination of all activities and projects with customers.

• Analyzing and developing the customer base including segmentation, identifying potential and specific needs.

• Develop and implement renewable project sales strategy and account plan with the customers and influencers in the defined regional area.

• Develop new projects and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, authorities, and business associations in the renewable energy business.

• Identify market segments for sales opportunity and Marketing to generate demand to maximize result. New customer acquisition in within your responsible region.

• Coordinates the assigned project sales activities and implements all activities related to projects.

• Responsible for customer and end-user relations/ Relationship management

• Design customer specific solutions and & offers.

• Sales Negotiation and Selling. Reach at least set turnover targets under consideration of resources and ideal customer mix.

• Ensure that the customer's need for solutions, quotation and products are met promptly.

• General project sales skills in Cable or Renewable energy industry.

Requirements:

• Preferred 1-2 years' work experience in the sales or technical sales position. Fresh graduate can be consider.

• Proven record in sales/ marketing/ business development in Cable or Renewable energy industry is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, customer service and communication skills.

• Good command of English & Mandarin.
