Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or any relevant field of study
• Min. 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Good problem-solving skills and analytical

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a semi-conductor environment or related industry
• Project management certification

• Lead the team in executing electrical work during the construction phase, including cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination, and testing/commissioning for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DCIS/HMI, etc.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents.
• Manage a team comprising supervisors, sub-contractors, and vendors.
• Responsible for electrical interfaces with the operational team, conducting meetings, and providing technical clarifications.
• Investigate and troubleshoot electrical switchgear faults or failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze and enhance equipment reliability to prevent recurrence, collaborating with operation groups and external contractors.
• Prepare documentation for maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and utilizing appropriate Method Statements and Risk Assessments, meeting BCA requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems, equipment, and rooms align with internal customers' needs.
• Review inspection and testing plans for electrical and instrument system installations through relevant checklists.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth completion of projects.
• Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Mills Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with mills to enhance business opportunities.

1. Domestic Sales (particularly with CNOOC):

• Manage a team of 2 Business Development Managers (BDMs) focusing on domestic sales.
• Work with Strategic Mill Partners or channels in Central Asia to drive sales growth.

1. Breakthrough in Chinese CCUS and/or Geothermal:

• Lead efforts to penetrate the Chinese Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) market and/or the geothermal sector, as well as other relevant decarbonization activities.

1. Oversee Customer Service and Customer's Project Teams in Wuxi:

• Manage a team of 4 direct reports to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and project success.

1. Asia Pacific Executive Team:

• Be an active member of the Asia Pacific Executive Team.
• Responsible for yearly budget planning, participate in strategy meetings and conduct monthly operations reviews.

Responsibilities

Requirements and skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of market research
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Certificate in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field

The candidate is responsible for the preparation and submission of interior fit out / joinery product tenders including quantity takeoffs, pricing etc.

He/she must have the ability to work independently and under minimum supervision and capable of sourcing competitive materials costs.

Armed with experience in furniture or building/construction industry is an added advantage
