1. Ensure that the diving equipment is adequate and in good operating condition.
   • Review all diver and tender Personal Dive Equipment (PDE) upon arrival at the worksite. Under no circumstances will any PDE be used for diving operations if the inspection and maintenance records are not established to be correct.
   • Ensure, prior to commencing a diving operation,that additional parties directly involved in the diving operation,masters of vessels, harbour masters, managers of civil engineering sites, inland waterways, and all persons responsible for anything that affects the diving operation are advised that diving operations are to be undertaken.
   • Ensure that the operations are conducted from a suitable location.
   • Develop and/or implement emergency/contingency procedures.
   • Ensure a two‐way communication system is available at the dive location to obtain emergency assistance.
   • Perform a Job Hazard Analysis for all tasks undertaken.
   • Ensure sufficient breathing air, proper equipment and supplies are available for safe and timely completion of the job task.
   • Ensure two‐way communication between the diver, the dive station and any equipment operators that may affect the dive.

   2. Sufficient to regulatory requirements for the diving mode used.

2. Assign the duties of all members of the dive team and personally direct them throughout the diving operation.
3. Personally verify that all personnel on the dive team are qualified and physically able to perform tasks assigned.
4. Assess the physical condition of the divers prior to each dive to determine if any physical impairment is present which would be detrimental to their health and safety in the water or under hyperbaric conditions.
5. Ensure the detailed briefing of the diving team and support personnel including:
   1. Tasks to be undertaken
   2. Unusual hazards or environmental conditions
6. Maintain a depth, bottom time, and breathing mix profile (surface dive sheet) at the dive location for each diver during the dive.
7. Ensure that each diver is continuously tended while in the water and decompression chamber.
8. Ensure that when diving in the mud or sand (on bottom) the diver’s pneumo hose is not allowed to fill with mud or sand.
9. Ensure the dive is terminated when:
   1. The diver requests termination
   2. The diver fails to respond to communication or communication is lost between the diver and dive team members at the dive location
   3. The diver begins to use his diver‐carried reserve breathing gas supply
   4. Weather or site conditions are degrading to the extent that diver safety may be compromised.
10. Ensure after every dive:

The physical condition and wellbeing of the diver is checked by visual observation and verbal questioning.

1. The diver is instructed to report any physical problems or symptoms of decompression sickness or arterial gas embolism.
2. The diver is advised of the location of the nearest operating decompression chamber.
3. Notify the Company Top Management as soon as possible after the occurrence of any incident including diving incidents, any sign or symptom of decompression illness, AGE, omitted decompression or any deviation from the scheduled decompression, however minor.
4. Maintain and submit reports required by the company and relevant governmental regulations concerning diving operations and equipment maintenance, testing or repair.
5. View and ensure accuracy of the diver personal logbook and affix signature to properly record activities.
6. Maintain certification in First Aid, AED, O2 admin and CPR.
7. Plan the mobilization of diving equipment & personnel by conferring with relevant parties.
8. To stand in as Dive Supervisor or Diver as and when required.
9. Ensure proper planning of any type of Diving operation.

We are looking for a Research Engineer to develop, implement, and oversee techniques and systems in Trust Technology and related areas such as privacy, security and blockchain, which are important components of digital trust platforms. The role will focus on emerging technologies that engenders trust and espouse the values of fairness, safety, and privacy in digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research into trust technologies testing – translating algorithms, tools, and frameworks into working prototypes that can explain how research outputs can be productised into new capabilities.
• Work closely with Centre’s researchers to design and develop system implementation work from research into the product.
• Design and build working tools that can support the technology transfer of new capabilities to research partners and can be used to showcase the value of a given research outcome.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, presentations, and papers on research into trust technologies testing, helping to educate and raise the overall competency in emerging areas of trust technologies.
• Engage global partners and researchers to understand latest trends and advance Singapore’s mindshare in this domain.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science/ engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python is essential; experience with Java, C/C++, Go, and PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus. Proficient with Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS) and shell scripting.
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, especially in NLP and LLMs, covering tasks like data preprocessing, feature extraction, training, and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques (e.g., knowledge graphs, machine unlearning, AI testing). Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) experience required.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development tools with experience in end-to-end ML system development (data exploration, feature engineering, model training/evaluation) is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills and a good understanding of ethical AI practices, especially related to data privacy and security.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong collaboration skills. Experience working in cross-functional teams with attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Experience in research on mechanistic interpretability.
• Experience in the implementation of multi-modal LLMs or vision-language models.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day project supervision for conversion, repairs of commercial or naval vessels
• To ensure safety, quality of work and meet delivery deadline
• To ensure work assigned is carried out effectively and productively within budgeted man-hours allocated by CSR, meet customer's specifications and requirements
• Accountable for the team of workers and sub-contractors under his responsibility and also the overall progress of the repair projects
• Ensure good co-ordination and communication between your work team, SRM, other departments and owners when work is carried out.

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics related fields
• Able to interpret electrical schematic diagrams
• Experienced in carrying out system testing with commissioning team
• Experienced in ship repairs works under tight schedules
• Experienced in man-management of workers and contractors
• Able commit to OT based on project deadlines

• Location: Tuas (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm

Job Descriptions

• Perform a pre-operation inspection of the vehicle and equipment prior to operation.
• Deliver products to customers and follow work instructions and safety.
• Loading and unloading products between storage tanks and ISO tanks.
• Take care of the vehicle and report any vehicle problems to the supervisor

Requirements

• Good health and no color blindness.
• Possess a Singapore Class 4/5 Driving License
• At least 1-year of experience as a tanker driver with a good safety record
• Flexible overtime, including weekends
• 5.5 working days (Alternative Sat Working)
