Outreach, Development and Mentorship (ODM) Programme
1) Casework and Mentoring:
i. Conduct intake and risk assessments for the ODM beneficiaries (children, youth, and ex-inmates).
ii. Provide case management and mentoring services to the beneficiaries. This include providing supportive counselling, crisis management and mentoring to promote personal growth and development of the beneficiaries.
iii. Perform needs assessment of beneficiaries and identify service gaps.
iv. Participate in case reviews and case conferences.
v. Network with community partners and collaborate in areas where holistic support to beneficiaries can be provided.
vi. Maintain proper case documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
vii. Review and evaluate ODM case-work and mentoring programmes.
viii. Conduct quarterly psychoeducational workshops for the children and youth beneficiaries.
2) Group Work:
i. Support the Senior Social Worker in planning, documentation, facilitation, and evaluation of groupwork/support group aimed at promoting interaction, collaboration, and shared learning among beneficiaries.
3) Community Development Work
i. Engage in community development activities and support community events to foster better community relationships and promote our services
4) Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:
i. Liaise and build relationships with other agencies, ministries, and community partners for collaborations, referrals, and to enhance service delivery.
5) Professional Practice
i. Maintain a high standard of professional practice in social work, adhering to ethical guidelines and continually seeking to improve skills and knowledge.
