• Operate the power plant according to procedures and requirements including but not limited to starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the complete plant and systems
• Support the ASCE/SCE/PSCE to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operation of the Power Station

• Fully utilizing the CMMS to ensure all operation activities and experiences are recorded to comply with station, legislative and company policy requirements
• Assist to implement a Quality Management System as applied to the Power Station
• To assist fully with and help implement and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental practices
• Communicate with Regulatory and Authority on all operation matters on a timely manner
• To take part in training both on and off site, to be trained and to train others as required

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline

The laboratory of Yijie Shen at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences is seeking to hire a research fellow with a solid theoretical background in optical angular momentum, particularly in vortex light fields, who has also conducted relevant research in this area. The research fellow will focus on two main aspects: 1) theoretical research on optical transverse angular momentum, and 2) the generation, measurement, and application of light fields carrying angular momentum or certain polarization states in long pulses.

Optical transverse angular momentum represents a cutting-edge topic in the field of optics. In the past three years, it has garnered significant attention and extensive research within the scientific community, with related work frequently published in top-tier journals. However, the theoretical understanding of optical transverse angular momentum is still in its infancy. The current theoretical frameworks remain unclear and lack solid foundations, with considerable discrepancies in its definition and calculation. Therefore, advancing its theoretical research is crucial, and this is expected to become a prominent research direction in optics in the coming years.

Additionally, experimental work on vortex light fields can also be pursued. While the generation and study of light beams carrying longitudinal angular momentum are already well-established, research on the generation and measurement techniques for light pulses carrying both longitudinal and transverse angular momentum is still in the early stages. Moreover, exploring potential applications of these light fields remains an open frontier. Theoretical studies involving optical vortices in pulses and ultrafast optics require further development to establish a comprehensive research framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct theoretical research on optical transverse orbital angular momentum, focusing on its definition and calculation
• Develop methods for numerical simulation for optical longitudinal and transverse angular momentum or generating and measuring light fields carrying longitudinal and transverse angular momentum. Investigate the practical applications of these light fields, such as using them as detection signals in various scenarios (e.g., interactions with different material interfaces)
• Work on the generation and measurement of long pulses with modified power spectrum and explore their applications in the field of communications
• Publish high-quality research papers to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Engineering, Physics or related areas, with focus on optical angular momentum, optical vortex

The Senior QA Specialist will support day-to -day Quality Assurance activities in accordance with approved SOPs / Policies for a multi-product, cGxP contractmanufacturing facility in one of these areas: Quality Systems, QA Validation and Technical Compliance, Quality Compliance (Audit / External) or Quality Operations (LBT / LBSS).

• Timely escalation of quality events on the floor based on knowledge ofdefined SOPs and policies
• Support changeover activities and QA on Call
• Provide training to new members and manufacturing
• Provides Quality oversight for Operations document changes (e.g. MBRs,SOPs,Forms, Logbook, etc.).
• Provides Quality Change Request oversight for process and Operationchange
• Detect non-compliance with cGMP and GDocP requirements and provideguidance on GDocP corrections
• Revise, review and approve SOPs, protocols, reports or records

Requirement:

• Degree in science or related field
• Relevant work experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry or Validation / Quality unit in the Biopharmaceutical industry
• Familiar with Regulatory requirements and local Codes & Standards (e.g., FDA, EMEA, and ICHQ7)
• Knowledge and experience of the practical and theoretical requirement of quality managementsystem in GMP facility
• Team player who can operate independently, with strong focus on safety, quality and timelines

(A) JOB DESCRIPTION:

For the assigned project, assume overall responsibility for inspecting and assessing the quality and reliability of welding work, including but not limited to the following:

1) Perform inspection to ensure all fabrication work is done according to required specification, procedure, and applicable standards.

2) Conduct welding and welder procedure qualification testing and prepares report & record as per relevant specification and code.

3) Reviewing material/weld traceability records.

4) Inspections on Piping fabrication / Installation prior to pressure testing, witnessing pressure testing.

5) Understand all technical specification and standard compliance.

6) Handle troubleshooting project correction.

7) Carry out inspection of all the welding and related actions in accordance with the approved Welding Procedure Specification, drawings and Company Specification and requirements.

8) Recommend approval of the work inspected (in compliance with the Contract Plans and Specifications).

(B) REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy.

2) Possess a valid welding inspector certificate (AWS or CSWIP)

3) At least 2 years working experience in welding inspection of structural, piping fabrication and welding jobs (including NDT).

4) Sound knowledge of structural fabrication, piping isometric drawing and materials

5) Good written and communication skills, to interact with people of all levels and teamwork

6) Those with practical experience in the Process (Oil & Gas) industry will have added advantage.
