General Overview

This position is part of the site Mechanical team that provides technical/maintenance support to the Operation and Project teams in LNG Terminal. He/she would be mainly responsible for overseeing the safe and reliable operations and maintenance of the Terminal assets from the Mechanical discipline perspective.

The incumbent is also responsible for establishing, reviewing and overseeing the relevant mechanical design elements of new build equipment / asset enhancement activities and implementation of minor mechanical engineering projects, while ensuring the overall mechanical integrity of the terminal.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance of plant equipment, rotating machinery and static equipment, preferably in oil/petrochemical or related industries
• Good knowledge and experience working on different types of in-service pipeline inspection. Knowledge of the LNG / natural gas or other hydrocarbon industries an advantage
• Relevant technical experience in maintenance of mechanical/ machinery systems i.e compressor, pump, pressure vessel, hydraulic components and piping system.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Work with Operations Head to ensure timely execution of projects and maintain quality control. Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated time frame, as well as to identify and report any discrepancies.
• Work with stakeholders & vendors to ensure that the required construction tests /works are carried out.
• Plan and manage the procurement process of building & renovation projects which include tender calling, evaluation, selection and appointment of project consultants and contractors.
• Maintain proper records of all official documents.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Operations Head.

Facilities Management

• Provide a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and beneficiaries through facility operations and maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with government standards and regulations for HSE.
• Inspect and upkeep New Life’s facilities on an on-going basis to determine the condition and efficacy of our building and assets.
• Source, procure and manage all maintenance services and vendors.
• Work with the relevant facility staff to record and address operational faults during work and non-work hours.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably 3 years relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent team player, and able to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task and service oriented.

Job Description

· Responsible for scrap metal / waste wood collection/delivery between customers’ premises and/or company’s yards.

· Responsible for safe loading & unloading work.

· Check & account for amount/weight of material collected and delivered.

· Responsible for assigned lorry’s cleanliness and upkeep/maintenance.

· Responsible to report any issue / fault with the lorry that you are driving timely.
