Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the systems engineer will provide engineering design, technical configuration, and various telecommunication system drawings.

Salary: $3800 - $5500

Job Description:

1️⃣ Lead engineering design, ensure thorough understanding of client requirements to propose optimal solutions

2️⃣ Prepare engineering documents (VDRL) and address client feedback promptly with high quality and accuracy

3️⃣ Create preliminary drawings and guide AutoCAD drafters in producing engineering deliverables

4️⃣ Incorporate industry standards and best practices into design, drawing preparation, review, and submission

5️⃣ Supervise equipment assembly, cabinet integration, system configuration, simulation, testing, and verification

6️⃣ Provide in-house training for client and commissioning engineers

Requirements:

1️⃣ Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanic, Marine & Offshore) or possesses technical knowledge about Maritime communication systems

2️⃣ Experience in a similar role within the industrial markets

3️⃣ Experience as an ex-sailor, Ex-Radio Officer, or Ex-Navy personnel are added advantage

4️⃣ Well-organised documentation and time management skills

5️⃣ Ability to articulate and share concepts with customers and suppliers

6️⃣ Knowledge of AUTOCAD will be an added advantage

7️⃣ Site commissioning/radio surveying experience as per SOLAS / MODU (Not a must-have but good to have)

8️⃣ Ability to use various coverage tools such as CadnaA for PAGA, Ekahau for WIFI coverage, and iBwave for UHF/GSM coverage (Not a must-have but good to have)
