Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $5000 + AWS + VB
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm); Saturday (9am - 1pm)
• Location: Changi Airfreight Centre

Job Scope:

• Supervise and manage the operations department, leading a team of 10 staff members
• Ensure seamless daily operations for both air and sea shipments
• Address and resolve issues and challenges faced by the operations department
• Uphold and maintain proper discipline within the operations team

Requirements:

• Must be familiar with Singapore Customs, airlines, and shipping lines
• Must possess strong leadership skills.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, handling both air and sea imports and exports
• Minimum Diploma holder with proficiency in English (both spoken and written)

Job Description & Requirements

• Manage Sales Activities including address customers' enquiries, invoices & delivery orders, sales order processing, initialling of quotations and collection of payments.
• Perform support to sales admin & marketing functions.
• Site visit / meeting to discuss on delivery requirement. Updating data, filing and others sales support.
• Provide inside sales support to internal department to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Other Ad-hoc sales & admin duties assigned.
• Follow up marketing channel management.
• Propose and conduct build-up of an efficient net-work of distributors in assigned territory.
• Co-operate with distributors to implement sales and/or marketing activities/programs in the assigned market.
• Co-operate with distributors working with their customers such as retailers, contractors, specifies to gain some key sales & marketing objectives in respect of sales volume, market coverage, retail chain-efficiency and so on.
• Build up networking with construction companies, contractors, specifiers, board of project management.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration / Management Studies / Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
• Having a minimum of 1 years working experience in sales will be an added advantage.
• Possess basic materials and market trend knowledge
• Knowledge of cemen and concrete technology or building materials
• Knowledge of latest product trends and activities
• Must be computer literate and have basic computer skills for reporting and presentation purposes
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent
• Possess own vehicle
