We are looking for a Post-Doctoral/Research Fellow to join our research projects on novel semiconductor devices (memory/transistor).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop baseline processes for novel memory/transistor test devices.
• Fabricate high quality memory/transistor test devices.
• Characterize test devices physically, analytically and electrically.
• Analyze, organize and present experimental data.
• Draft progress report/research proposal.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in electronics engineering or material science/engineering or applied physics or related field
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor device fabrication and characterization.
• Familiarity with cleanroom fabrication tools and semiconductor device measurement instruments
• Good written and oral communication skills (mandatory).
• Proficient in cleanroom fabrication and test device characterization (physical/analytical/electrical), data analysis, organization and presentation.
• Self-motivated, responsible, able and willing to self-learn and adapt to changing priorities, possess sharp observational skills, able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities:

General Office Administration

• Managing incoming and outgoing mail
• Handle office facility maintenance, including liaising with vendors
• Monitor and replenish office and workshop supplies (groceries, stationery, corporate gifts, and drinks)
• Vendor & Asset Management
• Coordinate with vendors for regular maintenance and ad-hoc repairs
• Ensure smooth operations of company equipment, including photocopy machines and office appliances.

Event Coordination

• Organise staff events such as outdoor lunches, year-end dinners, and other team-building activities.
• Coordinate catering and office gatherings as needed.

Administrative Support

• Oversee the part-time cleaner and ensure the cleanliness of the office and workshop
• Update staff leave records
• Manage monthly utility, phone and internet bills
• Assist with PSA pass applications/renewal and vehicle road tax reminders

Corporate Tasks

• Track and order corporate merchandise (e.g. polo tees, gifts)
• Coordinate the printing of corporate materials and name cards
• Facilitate the purchase of company gift vouchers and follow up with malls for procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office coordination role
• No experience can apply. On-the-job training is provided
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Manage quality assurance program to monitor incoming wastewater profile and implement control measures to ensure compliance.

· Analyse wastewater analytic results and work with Plant Manager on daily wastewater treatment plan.

· Work with Plant Manager to conduct testing and acceptance of new wastewater streams.

· Work with Plant Manager to conduct trials and tests to optimize treatment efficiency.

· Ensure proper upkeep of laboratory records and maintain the integrity of database.

· Oversee the smooth and safe operations of lab function to support the plant operations.

· Ensure lab procedures are updated and operators are trained properly to conduct the lab analysis.

· Procure and manage laboratory supplies such as chemicals, reagents and consumables, etc

· Manage the maintenance plan for laboratory Instruments and conduct scheduled calibration

Requirements:

· Diploma or Degree in chemical engineering field.
