Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and oversee all activities at the Singapore Pilot Plant while adhering to Company regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, quality, EHS, regulatory requirements, budget and project timetables.
• Plan, organize, schedule and execute pilot plant trials requested by the different users of the Singapore Pilot Plant (e.g. Product Development, Process Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Packaging, etc.).
• Lead, manage and oversee all maintenance activities at the Singapore Pilot Plant and Tuas R&D Centre facilities.

Requirements:

• Master Degree or B.S. in Engineering, such as and not limited to Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other Engineering related course.
• 6 years of combined experience in infant formula, beverage, food or pharmaceutical industry in R&D, technical services or manufacturing functions, with at least 3 years of those spent working in manufacturing lines or pilot plants.
• Preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience as Process Engineer operating key process technologies related to spray drying, dry powder blending, powder conveying and liquid processing.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of food processing equipment.
• Experience in qualifying and commissioning of food processing equipment.

• Review tender instructions, terms and conditions and ensure that all risk areas are properly addressed as well as highlighting areas of requirement with potential cost / delivery impact.

• Work together with Finance and Purchasing to review letters of credit, surety bonds, and/or vendor qualification forms to ensure that proper information and corporate requirements are provided or implemented by business units.

• Coordinate requirements and applications for surety bonds and parent company guarantee when required.

• To administer, coordinate and review letters of support and other ad hoc agreements such as representative, distributorship and co-operative agreements.

• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with customers and suppliers including effectively managing contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, and risks; and develop and execute negotiation strategies with customers and suppliers as required to minimize potential losses and maximize profits for the company.

• Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to ensure agreements are being reviewed and ratified to company’s interests.

• Engage relevant internal stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standard and terms and conditions.

Salary: Basic Up to $4,500 + 3 Month Bonus

Job Description

Requirements:

• Working Hours: 12 hours daily (2 break)
• Working day: 6 days weekly
• Must have valid Class 4 and/ or Class 5 Driving licence with good traffic record
• Familiar with Singapore roads and navigate with maps

Job Scope:

• Perform driving duties to and/or in clients’ place and/or across Singapore
• Plan route effectively to ensure safest route for assigned duties/ tasks
• Maintain, upkeep and cleanliness of the truck daily
• Ensure that the truck is well maintained and meet all safety requirements
• Any ad hoc duties assigned by superior

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of accounts payable
• Responsible for end to end accounts payable & employees’ expense claims activities
• Monitor and ensure all invoices are properly documented and approved prior to update into the system
• Responsible for vendor payments and employee claims reimbursement including reconciliations
• Responsible for accounts payable month end closing process
• Prepare GST reconciliations and statistical reporting
• Responsible for inter-company settlements
• Ensure compliance with company policies
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the semiconductor laser diode related project
• Handle optical design for laser diode coupling and packaging
• Handle fabrication, characterization and analyze the laser diode
• Purchase work within the project frame

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven track record of research related to photonics and semiconductor physics
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
