• Ensure kitchen supplies are adequate to meet the daily needs of the nursing home
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions. Ensure that kitchen tools / equipment are cleansed and properly stored after usage.
• Work with vendors to receive food
• Work with the Centre Manager to audit the kitchen facilities
• Conduct plating activities if required

Requirements:

• Basic English Language Proficiency to communicate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Service oriented and customer focused
• Related experience in hospitality or food & beverage industry will be preferred.
• Able to work on rotating shifts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily food preparation works and execute the food orders in a timely and sequential order.
• Coordinate and supervise the flow of assignments of Demi Chef and Cooks to ensure efficient and smooth food production and service.
• To control and record food spoilage, minimize wastages, exercise portion control, and menu presentation.
• Assist in function events and coordination with service team on menu set up, and timely replenishment throughout function event

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
• Experience in working in a hotel outlet will be an added advantage

Cozy cafe in heart of CBD offering affordable comfort food and specialty coffee to working professionals in the area.

We are an enthusiastic team looking for a new member who can engage customers and build relationships with them. We are all-rounders who manage operations of the cafe and our duties include:

• provide friendly customer service - engaging customers, taking orders, cashiering, serving food and beverages, etc.
• maintain overall cleanliness of cafe (sweeping, mopping, disposing rubbish, clearing and wiping tables, washing, etc.)
• preparing beverages - including specialty coffee with latte art
• assist manager in preparing food (when necessary)

We prefer individuals with some working experience. If you have experience as a barista, F&B service crew or kitchen help we would definitely want to meet you.

Cafe is open on weekdays only and part timers' working hours are 2-3 days per week between 8am-5pm. However, hours are flexible depending on business' and your needs.

Applicants must be able to work for at least 6 months.
