The Services required are set out as follows:
• Be in the Teacher’s Preparation Room and two Kitchens during
working hours
• Receiving and checking food orders from the food supplier
• Preparation of ingredients before lessons (portioning out
ingredients before culinary lessons)
• Maintenance of the two Kitchens to uphold a high standard of food
and kitchen safety
• Checking and maintaining the ingredients, materials, equipment,
appliances, utensils and furniture
• Inventory and stock taking of resources e.g. books, equipment,
appliances and utensils
• Maintain general tidiness, orderliness and cleanliness of the
Preparation Room and two Kitchens
• Assisting the NFS teachers during culinary sessions e.g. ensuring
that students observe safety rules, guiding students in preparation
skills
