The role ensures that all processes, systems, and deliverables meet the required quality standards, industry regulations, and Employer Requirement. The QA/QC Manager will implement and oversee the project-specific quality management system (QMS), ensure compliance with quality standards, and lead efforts to identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the project lifecycle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop, implement, and improve the project’s QMS in line with Employer Requirement, industry standards (ISO 9001, IEC, DNV, etc.), and Korea regulatory requirements where necessary.
• Develop detailed quality plan, procedures, and work instructions specific to offshore substations, ensuring alignment with project scope and requirements.

• Make sure that the offshore substation meets DNV Project Certification based on DNV-ST-0145 (2021 Edition) primarily.
• Supervise the commissioning process to verify that the offshore substation meets all operational and safety requirements.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure all QC-related documents are in compliance with regulatory requirements and Employer’s expectations.

• Work closely with the project engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure quality management is integrated into all phases of the project lifecycle.
