JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in preparing resources for teaching & learning activities (e.g. lesson, enrichment, competition, exhibition, recycling campaign, garden trail, etc)
• Set up science laboratory / makerspace before activity and clear up after activity
• Organise the storage of learning materials (e.g. apparatus, equipment, printed resources, perishables, etc)
• Ensure learning materials are well-maintained and well-stocked (includes simple cleaning, drying, stock-taking, etc)
• Assist in purchasing learning materials
• Maintain cleanliness of two science rooms and one makerspace room
• Assist in any other teaching & learning related duties as assigned by Teacher-in-charge, Level Head or Head of Department

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Able to properly handle science laboratory apparatus
• Basic proficiency in spoken and written English
• Organised and attentive to details
• Able to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines
• Able to communicate with teachers through WhatsApp
• Additional preferred qualifications, skills and experience:

1. Prior working experience in science laboratories and/or primary school environment

Objectives:

Working closely with the Sales team and global technical resources, the selected candidate will support the development and growth of Connector, Lead Frame, Printed Circuit Board, and other electronics applications in the APAC region, focused on Southeast Asia. The initial focus will be on Electroless Nickel and Mold Compound de-flash products, but could also grow to include tin, nickel, silver, and gold electroplating products and surface treatments

Responsibilities:

• Having a deep understanding of company products for the Electronics industry, including formulations and application specifics.
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and market position/performance of comparable competitive products.
• Working with Technical Service and Sales team to prioritize appropriate customer and application targets

• Developing external collaborations with co-suppliers, Universities, or Government Research Institutes to strengthen our offering, improve our market visibility, or secure funding to advance our product offerings.

Requirements:

• Graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Experience: 10 Years of experience in metal finishes for the Electronics Industry
• The role may require regular travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, The Philippines, and Thailand. Less frequent travel to company facilities in the US may also be required (1-2 times per year)

External Ecosystem Relationship Liaison

• Operation of experimental technology: follow SOP of PCR, glue recovery, etc. and complete the
