Roles & Responsibilities
· In charge of handling CAP and MOH license
· Responsible for the day-to-day management of the laboratory, acting as a focal point for all Laboratory related matters.
· Drive implementation of policies and procedures; ensure compliance from team members.
· In-charge of the quality system, maintain quality document and risk assessment (RA) documentations.
· Ensure the handling of clinical test specimens are in accordance to protocol.
· Performs validation test procedures and protocols.
· Prepare the lab team for audit inspection of licensing and accreditation.
· Liaises with referral laboratories, collaborators and vendors.
· Assist in monitoring financial performance of the lab, in relation to budget and cost control.
· Establishes and maintains inventory controls and levels to confirm with budgets.
· Ensure the safety of all personnel working in the laboratory.
· Assist in overall staff supervision, training and competency.
· Qualification of laboratory equipment and maintains the equipment master list
· Ensures that laboratory activities comply with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards.
· Undertakes to perform other duties, as requested by the Laboratory Director.

- Analyze sequencing data and report results to customers in a timely manner
- Assist in trouble shooting
- Interact with bio informaticians and evaluate bioinformatics output
- Supervise and train junior staff
2. [Requirements]
- 2 years clinical lab working experience
- Degree in genetics, biology or related life science major
- NGS experience
