Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including the development and implementation of opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsible for driving optimal performance on the sales floor by enhancing the customer experience and maximizing profitability.
• Leading human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management, including making hiring and termination decisions. Managing staff schedules, assigning roles and responsibilities, and establishing clear performance expectations through defined quotas and KPIs.
• Maintaining control over inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts, and ensuring proper stock rotation in line with seasonal changes, promotions, and sales initiatives. Overseeing the execution of shop specials and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand.
• Enforcing high standards of customer service by setting clear expectations for staff behavior and performance, and ensuring adherence to security and safety protocols. • Managing loss prevention through effective security practices, monitoring and auditing inventory levels, and ensuring proper documentation. Addressing damaged or defective merchandise promptly and efficiently to minimize impact on profitability.
