Job Description (Façade Rectification Project):

1) Project Planning and Progress Controlling – collaborating with other stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, timelines and budget constraints. Understand the specific requirements of the project.

2) Design and Engineering –collaborating with the design team to ensure that the designs are workable and meet technical specifications.

3) Safety and Compliance –Ensures that all work is carried out following safety regulations and industry best practices.

4) Quality Control –Monitors the quality of work being done, conducts inspections and ensures that the work meet the required quality standards.

5) Procurement - Required to be involved in the procurement of necessary equipment, materials and components for the project.

6) Resource Management - Responsible for coordinating resources, including general labour, equipment and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

7) Problem Solving – When unexpected challenges and issues arise. The Manager plays a crucial role in identifying and resolving these problems.

Specification/Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge of applicable engineering theory, methods and practices.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish / optimize infrastructure design and enhance existing processes to meet business goals

Programme Development

1. Assess complexity of client needs and the scope of services or programmes to be provided

The funded project will aim to characterize and compare host-alphavirus interactions at the immune response level in vivo in animal models through a novel viral-centric approach. Preliminary data of the lab has shown a differential adaptive immune response polarization between two alphaviruses and identified, via in vivo comparative multiOmic approaches, a set of candidate host factors potentially responsible for the phenotype. The project will entail a close characterization of these host factors and their role in the viral life cycle as well as the modulation of the immune response of small animal model to these viruses. In addition to multi-Omics approaches (including single-cell and spatial), protein-protein interactions, microscopy, functional genomics, viral reverse genetics and CRISPR Cas9 gene editing will be some of the tools used to investigate this viral hijacking and understand the host-viral interplay. Animals models available in the lab include mice and zebrafish. Downstream of characterization will aim to validate these targets in small preclinical models for subsequent drug discovery in the A*STAR ecosystem. RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role will be responsible for our Product Application Lab for Semiconductor applications. Working closely with the Sales team and global technical resources, the selected candidate will support the development and growth of Semiconductor industry products in the region, focused on Southeast Asia. The initial focus will be on Strip, Etch, and Clean (SEC) solutions, but will also grow to include the Elevate® line of electroplating products. Specifically, the duties will include:
• Having a deep understanding of Technic products for the Semiconductor industry,
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and market position/performance of comparable competitive products.
• Working with Sales team to select appropriate customer and application targets
• Visiting customers across the territory to understand their equipment, process, and product performance requirements.
• Starting-up and operating the Technic Wafer Processing and Failure Analysis lab
• Conducting product functional performance testing & measurements either on-site or coordinating with other Regions to generate test results remotely.
• Advising on laboratory upgrades needed to better serve customers
• Liaising with customers during qualification tests and providing trouble-shooting advice after installation
• Recommending the best product for the application based on product experience and/or laboratory trials
• Hiring and supervising at least one technician to maintain the lab and support customer trials
• Developing specifications and facility recommendations for local manufacturing of SEC products, either at Technic or third-party facilities
• Advise on hiring and lead training of operators for local manufacturing
• Set operating procedures, quality targets and release specifications for any eventual locally made semiconductor products
• Developing external collaborations with co-suppliers, Universities, or Government Research Institutes to strengthen our offering, improve our market visibility, or secure funding to advance our product offerings.

Requirement

• The role may require regular travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand (1-2 times per month) & less frequent travel to France and the US (1-2 times per year)
